OMEGALUL

They need to get rid of the CP/power-up format for pvp and just level all pokemon to the format of whatever cup they're eligible to compete in automatically. It is frustrating to catch a pokemon with good PvP IVs only for it to be too high of a level already to use or because it will evolve beyond any particular CP cap.

Better yet, just let us rent pokemon that we can only use for battles, we don't catch them, we don't own them, we just select the moves we want and fight. Dammit, I want to like PvP but it's implemented in the most infuriating way seemingly possible.

Easier solution, don’t care about IV’s. To be very honest, unless you’re in the upper ranks of GBL, things like understanding timing, baiting, and general GBL techniques matter significantly more than having IV’s that are recommended by apps/websites/reddit

I understand that, but why would you not want every advantage possible? The IVs affect CP, which affect eligibility with CP limits. Winning is the point of battles and you don't get rewards for losing beyond participation stardust at the end of a 5 battle set.

Salandit should not be possible in Little Cup formats, but here we are, with people "cheating" by using low-level alt accounts and trading that impossible under-levelled pokemon to their main. Sneasler should not be possible in Fighting Cup, but there it is, in the top 3, tearing up the meta.

Are you actually seeing the Sneasler and Salandit? I played the little cup and never once saw it. I’m just starting the fighting cup, but have yet to see it
