About to start 2nd watch

I’m ready for season 2 to become my favorite

In the whole series, what things did you miss and not catch until the 2nd time around? I think the show’s subtle foreshadowing sets it up to be rewatched a bunch of times

The first episode, the one thing I caught on rewatch is where Bubbles gets his nickname. Watch him the first time we see him do drugs, he starts blowing spit bubbles while mumbling.

Pay attention to all the parallels made between people, organisations, scenes and encounters

White Mike from Season 2 is in the pilot episode, sitting next to McNulty at a bar while McNulty and Bunk are discussing his marriage troubles.

Have fun, you'll probably find something every episode! I'm on my fifth full rewatch of the series and there's still fine details I pick up on.

The importance of Agent Koutris in season two can't be stressed enough. He's only around for a handful of scenes in the season, but he creates a butterfly effect for the whole season.

In the long run Rawls was better as commander for CID and terrible as Deputy Ops

My latest re-watch I noticed that the "You Police, He Ain't" guy is the one encouraging Sherrod to confront Naymond at the gym to stay off the corner.

Do me a favor. Try to count how many times someone says “no problem” in season 2. I swear they say it way too much

How many times they say “it’s all in the game”
