I know none of us are strangers to the 11/10 writing on this show, but I gotta point this out.

In S3e1, they first talk about bringing the murders under 275 for the year to help Royce against a potential Carcetti campaign. Colvin asks them “You can do anything to bring felonies down, like reclassify an agg assault, but how can you make a body disappear ?” And, obviously in Season 4 Marlo does just that. Long story short, I love this show.

It’s so relevant today with politicians whose goal is to conceal the damage by any means in order to get ahead. Whether it’s crime, economic statistics, or voter morale, every single person in power has the goal to cover their own shortcomings. As we clearly see in today’s climate it is only a matter of time before these lies and coverups become absolute reality, undeniable to the common eye.
