Official Art We really need to talk about the Tokyo Ghoul 2016 Calendar
Its really impressive that Ishida really drew a picture for all 366 days from 2016. And also, he released the weekly Tokyo Ghoul chaptersπ and some stuff more. To much cooking .
I will post more of this in the next days, because there are many funny stuff.
Here are a few pictures that I personally really like.

It is really a shame that he burned himself out so bad at the end of :re doing this. Probably having a better end to :re and a less burnt-out author would be well worth the price of not having a calendar. But still ... this calendar is pretty awesome. Kinda wish they'd translate the calendar into English, there's some very witty jokes and great artwork here.

Ishida really loves his craft. I remember when I read tokyo ghoul:re weekly that he would every now and then post some beatiful character portraits just for the sake of it. It would not be used for covers or panels but just his portofolio and practice. Shows to me he really loves doing what he does.

There is a reason he was burnt out at the end. However, I do recall seeing these when they were released. Damn, almost a decade ago. Great art as always.
