These are the only ones I already drew but I also have a bunch more that I want to draw and I haven’t even finished the manga

(Also some of them have slightly diferent dialogue that i thought would fit better out of context)

My Heroes

I didn’t have much to go on~ Growing up the way I did~ The truth always felt far away~ Like some horizon I could never touch

How was I supposed to live?~ What choices were mine to make?~ What’s makes one look past the pain?~ What’s worth breaking for?

The questions came easy~ The answers never did~ The grown ups weren’t heroes~ They were proof that things would fall apart

So I turned on the TV~ I opened books~ And I found myself in stories~ In characters who carried more truth~ Than anyone else around me

When I was young• I believed in myths and legends~ Heroes the world tried to break~ Yet somehow failed~ But somewhere along the way~ I lost the hope to believe~ In fairy tales...

The world already taught me better~

Nowadays~ The characters aren’t stories~ They’re my emotions~ My reflections~ The masks I wear~ When I can’t face myself

Eren Jaeger is my anger~ The will to tear the world apart~ Just to protect what’s left of my heart~ The way he turned into the villain~ Felt like the screen was calling me out

Shinra’s smile is mine~ When my pain hits the limit~ Do you know the expression I wear~ When I’m about to break?~ I smile~ And isn’t that chilling?

Kaneki taught me the shape of madness~ The man turned monster~ Every scream of his~ A reminder of the dreams~ I’ve watched die in my own chest~ Each breath he takes is a war~ To keep the monster locked inside~ I know that war

I got it tattooed in my skin~ To remind me monsters aren't~ Usually born~ Most times they are made

Walter White~ that’s my pride~ Throwing away~ His family~ His values~ Everything he had~ For power~ For the lie he was in control~ And yet~ That final fire in his eyes?~ That refusal to go out easy?~ Part of me loved that

And then there’s music

X with his smile~ Peep with his laugh~ Juice with his love~ Mac with his goofy grin~ All of them fighting habits~ That were killing them

I heard their pain~ Through headphones~ And when I heard them~ I didn’t feel alone anymore

That’s the thing about my heroes~ I can’t thank them~ Can’t reach through the screen~ Can’t tell them their suffering~ pulled me back from the ledge

So I write~ Not because I’m sure I have the talent~ Not because I know I’ll be heard~ But because maybe~ Just maybe~ One day~ Some kid will stumble across these words~ Lost, angry, about to give up,~ And he will hear himself in me

And maybe then~ I’ll become the thing I always needed~ A hero who lives long enough~ To remind someone else~ That they were never alone

For me it's the fact that it's so hard to make a top 15 best characters.

The second would be the fact that it has so many EXCELLENT arcs, normally other mangas have their "Pain Arc", or "Frieza Saga", or "Chimera Ants Arc", but in Tokyo Ghoul it's really hard to define which is the best arc.

And the last thing I think no one mentions is how at its lowest points (the later arcs of Re) it still has so many good things going for it, that it makes it hard to consider them bad arcs.

HII my updated Kaneki shrine!!! I’ve been collecting for some time! Kaneki is my favorite character ever and I don’t have any other shrine dedicated to any other character.

Honestly, I like it a little more than watercolors. I prefer desaturated base colors for illustrations to pure white, although I understand why it became popular with watercolors outside of manga.

i understood the whole manga up until the cog started planning anteikus raid, first of all i don't remember seeing a single panel of them doing research on anteiku or yoshimura, also i only remember when the investigators were fighting with yoshimura and then the big monster that turned out to be a girl comes out its all so all over the place and it being in manga form makes it so much more complicated. could somebody just explain simply what happens in volume 13 please.

I’m looking for others to go with

tooru was going through something very similar to what kaneki experienced in the first & second season, where she experienced something extremely traumatic (but in a different way, because it was realizing she killed her whole family and had an alter ego pushing away any memories of her killing anyone)

her hair turned white as well which was briefly mentioned in the manga that kanekis hair became white because of a sudden high increase of rc cells (this is also why takizawa's hair became white) so im not sure why her rc cells got even lower, close to almost nothing when she became extremely strong and had full control over her kagune

its also clear in this page her kagune grew and excelled in power, yet its also noted how her rc cells have been completely suppressed

its totally different from any other ghoul thats really strong, they always have a really high rc count so how does this make sense in tooru's case??

(also this art is absolutely amazing i love tokyo ghoul so much!! )

TikTok turns a genuinely interesting and well written character into their self-insert fake fantasy where they are in constant pain and agony when the worst pain is their mom taking their goddamn charger for their iPad

THEY JUST DON’T THE MAIN POINT OF HIS CHARACTER!!!

So while watching TG we learned that if a Ghoul consumes another Ghoul they “evolve” to say the least and gain a (excuse the misspelling) Kakuja and becomes stronger but more feral. Ken ate Jason and got his Centipede one eye form and Amon ate other Ghouls and turned into a pseudo-owl thing. So, why didn’t Touka turn? She always nibbled on Ken whenever she needed a boost in a fight but yet she stayed normal, why is that?

I know she's not much of a important character outside of TG light novel days bible: and anime special TG: pinto But her character is pretty well written and I love her design / vibe. I want another light novel with her and Keyama in it🙏
