Holy shit he was either able to keep or reacquire his license within 4-5 years after that shit?? And they said in the bridge article that it wasn’t his first offense, but I can’t get a driving job fucking anywhere with no points on my license and speaking perfect english lmfao

Yea but will you work for 10¢ every third mile? Cause dude like him will and that’s why companies hire them. It’s about money not driving skill.

It’s not surprising he kept his license. It is surprising he got a company, possibly a new company, to hire him as a driver. And it’s even more surprising that company was able to get him insured. And that last part is usually the deal killer. A company may really want to hire you but can’t get you insured or getting you insured will cost too much then they’ll just tell you they can’t hire you.
All I can think is some company hired him at a really low pay rate to make up for the higher insurance cost. Like to the point dude would’ve been better off working at McDonalds. You and I would never consider driving for what he was probably being paid. Also dude is dumber than a box of rocks. I mean look at what he’s done. Either he’s dumber than a box of rocks or he’s on drugs. That and he’s also dead inside given how indifferent he is to what he’s done.

Not only was he an illegal immigrant (as of 2018) but he caused multiple crashes (and now fatalities) since at least 2019. He needs to be jailed, his company needs to be sued/fined/punished to the max extent of the law, and the government needs to be held responsible as well for allowing someone who wasnt a citizen to possess a valid CDL. Multiple things could have stopped this, yet no one did. Everyone responsible needs to pay for these mistakes, not just the driver

California let him have a CDL, should arrest the govenor
13
u/Human_Lecture_348 18d ago
CDLs are federal, you wanna blame someone, that's a presidential problem (or at least higher up than a state governor)

u/Vangotransit 18d ago
State issued

Yes and it has to be cleared by the FMCSA. Do you know what the F stands for?

You serve any jail sentences then you're deported.

Sounds like California just released him, to let him flee the US to go back home. Foreigners don't face punishment in America. Foreigners aren't held responsible for their actions. Why was he not arrested on the spot in Florida?

He broke into the country illegally, killed 3 innocent people due to complete and utter disregard for the safety of others, and you think an appropriate punishment is for the family and friends of the deceased to pay for his room and board through taxes? Or for him to be deported so he can just do it again, or go back home with no consequences? The death penalty isn't just for revenge. It's for the simple fact that his continued existence inflicts greater harm on the people who he has already harmed. They are innocent and deserve to be protected, not him.

The comment you’re replying to says he will have jail time
Now you’re talking death penalty? Why? To be dramatic?

He killed 3 people in a separate incident. He will definitely spend some time in jail.

It's not the same person. It's a different driver with the same name. Don't spread misinformation

u/Khalsa510 3d ago
Buddy wtf your link says it’s not the same guy
1
u/balancedchaos 3d ago
Oooh...they edited it. Sneaky.
No, it seriously said that it was in fact the same person at the time of my posting. Hence all the pitchfork responses.

u/sudrama 18d ago
6 years experience assuming he has been driving since 2019...and he still makes a dangerous u turn in a busy highway. Amazing some people driving decisions

u/Feeling-Shock-9282 18d ago
Got his CDL in 2018 when crossing illegally from Mexico and got it in California somehow.
21
u/Cheap-Blackberry-378 18d ago
It's not really a surprise, it's been a real problem with these fly by night cdl schools that fast-track their drivers

u/Feeling-Shock-9282 18d ago edited 18d ago
Just confuses me because if I forget the delecroation of independence for the dmv I can't do anything with my license.
9
u/MrToyotaMan 18d ago
In 2013 California passed a law allowing illegal immigrants to get a drivers license. Not sure why that law also allows them to get commercial licenses but this idiot managed to get one. California is a worthless shithole

Are you serious . It’s the same driver ?

u/americandoom 18d ago
Same name. Have to assume it’s the same guy.
47
u/Dead_Namer 18d ago
Lol, Singh is more common than Smith, Jones and Johnson combined.
35m have the name, 1 in 22.
58
u/KungFuButters 18d ago
While I don't doubt it could be the same person, that is an extremely common name amongst Indian folks.
16
u/americandoom 18d ago
Do they all have Cdls and can’t read road signs too?
15
u/NoManufacturer2634 18d ago
If you’ve ever been to Brampton you’d know there’s probably 10000 harjinder Singhs driving truck that can’t read road signs

u/PhoenixSmasher 18d ago
It is not the same guy. Singh is a super common last name in India. There are over 15,000 TRUCKING COMPANIES registered to the last name Singh in the US, let alone the drivers they employ.
11
u/YellowSharkMT 18d ago
Man I'm sorry, but that's gotta be the stupidest thing I've read in a long time. Is this your first week outside of Oklahoma?
33
u/horce-force 18d ago
People keep claiming this is the same driver. Its actually not. Singh is the most common last name in India, there is no joke probably tens of thousands of Harjinder Singhs in North America, half of whom have a CDL. Maybe actually verify things before sending it out to the internet as fact. The ages of the Harjinder Singhs for these 2 incidents are over 10 years apart, and this has already been thoroughly debunked as name coincidence.
And no, the article posted in the comments as proof (India Times) even has a question mark in the headline (is it the same guy?? LOL). Not to mention the profile of the 'author' contains this word salad: "Sneha is a dedicated writer with a passion for storytelling that enthrals and inspires the readers. With a background in Health and Wellness, she brings a unique perspective to every narrative."

u/amazonallie Lady Cross Border Driver 18d ago
That is a really common name. Think Bob Smith as an equivalent.
1
u/ragingasian15 17d ago
even the first name?
And then considering the fact that there happened to be two of the same exact name working for trucking companies, and at the time of this bridge collapse, happened to be working for one based in California, the state where he entered, illegally, about a year prior?

When do the protests start? Oh yeah, they won’t. BTW, good luck getting any money from this company
15
u/Cheap-Blackberry-378 18d ago
Probably already shut down and restarted under a different family member

u/siuyu721 17d ago
That weight limit sign is nonsense though, a day cab itself weighs more than 6 tons, they should just post a no truck sign instead

Based on the date timeline, it doesn't appear to be him. There are millions of foreigners causing massive problems for Americans. It's been going on for a long time. Enough is enough!
0
u/polarjunkie 18d ago
Upon information and belief, based on the past driving record of defendant Singh and the obvious disregard for known and posted weight limits, defendant’s actions rise to the level of grossly negligent, willful, wanton, reckless, malicious and/or intentional conduct,” the lawsuit alleges.
He had a horrible driving record back in 2019. He's been driving for at least 5 years. How is he doing shit like this?

This and the u-turn asshole, are the reason for outlawing non- domiciled CDL. Some states (Ca & IL) just give them out like participation trophies. How many more families need to die.

Imagine looking at that bridge and sending it.
