I’ve been thinking about how incredible it would be if Yoriichi Tsugikuni had his own anime spin-off or trilogy movie series.

His story is literally built for emotional impact, intense battles, and deep lore. He’s the strongest Demon Slayer in history, the creator of Sun Breathing, and the only one who brought Muzan to the brink of death.

The story could show:

His childhood with Michikatsu (Kokushibo)

His training and awakening of Sun Breathing

His tragic marriage and personal loss 💔

The first real fight against Muzan

His relationship with the first generation of Demon Slayers

Ending with his final moments and passing on the earrings and legacy

Imagine the Ufotable animation for all of that? It would be insane. The tone could be mature and emotional like a samurai epic — something like “Demon Slayer: Yoriichi – The Sun’s Wrath.”

Honestly, this could be a 3-part movie, or a 12-episode limited series.

I'd give it a 9.5/10 potential, only because it would leave us emotionally destroyed 🥲
