I remastered Mezzo Forte!

Hello world!

I started a little project over a while ago with the simple goal of creating a collection of the highest quality remuxes for myself and family enjoy and later to pass on to my kids.

Somehow quickly I lost my way and tumbled in the never ending world of retro anime watched Kite for the first time 20 something years later than its release lol.

Very quickly I was gravitated towards the other releases such as Mezzo Forte and was just as quickly saddened to see Kitty (AKA Media Blasters) has no plan of ever releasing a Blu-Ray remaster like DiscoTek did with Kite.

Thus began my two week excruciating journey into learning just what on earth did DiscoTek use to remaster Kite (and other anime) so beautifully.

Now I must say, I did this on a 3000usd machine with an i9 and a 4090. They have access to the latest machine learning algorithms which they can feed thousand of source inputs to + most importantly the original 35mm tapes

But as I said to a friend on reddit, from what I was able to put together creating the closest thing to their image remaster pipeline (considering I also had only access to an utterly GARBAGE 480i DVD source),

I can safely say I have remastered Mezzo Forte up to about 85,90% of what DiscoTek did with Kite without any of their fancy tools.

Solely because I wanted to archive this and I know many of you are also disappointed with Mezzo Forte never getting a remaster bluray release.

Now please bear in mind this is not just an AI upscale infact AI was the very last step in the 15 step *cries* pipeline I came up with to remaster this movie to keep artifacts and anomalies away.

Just like Kite, some scenes are a bit damaged from the source which unless Media Blasters gives me the 35mm print and a 500K tape restoration lab, it is borderline impossible for me to restore specially from a shit DVD source.

Nonetheless, to all you "Archive masters" and "quality hunters" this is as good as its gonna get; at-least for now.

There's a torrent hash right there numnuts. Albeit it is not active right now as I have pulled it down due to my laptop running into some issues.
