Because they were a nothing burger tossed out by elon. They were hyped up as some big smoking gun to to prove some huge conspiracy and it all turned out to be standard business related emails for that field. You and everyone like you who went looking for a conspiracy, and wanted and needed one soooo bad to justify your shitty behavior and views just can't accept that.

Because what happened after they were put up? Nothing. It was a distraction. A "see you were being targeted for no reason, not becuase you were in fact bigots shitheads". But keep rolling with that sunk cost fallacy and believing every stupid asinine bullshit thing that drips from the political right.
