Just took a tour of UBCO and it sounds like if you need a prescription filled or blood work done you have to take a 25 minute bus into Kelowna, which sounds terrible if you have mono or strep or pneumonia. Is that correct?

It’s free, all ages, and at the Well! (For the first years, that’s inside the UNC). This will be our only free event of the year, so come check it out!

Hi! Has anyone ever received more than one waitlist award for parking or does everyone only receive one option?

I’m a third-year CS student, female, living in Academy Way and new to Kelowna. I was in Vancouver before and transferred into third year at UBCO. Summer 2025 was my first semester here, and I’m finding it a bit hard to make friends, especially since the campus felt so empty over the summer.

How hard is this class

Is it possible to take in-person summer classes at the Vancouver campus, or is it strictly only the Okanagan campus? And are there any online classes open during the summer, I’m only planning on taking electives

Hey guys, I'm going to be a second year electrical engineering student this year, and since I was able to get credit for apsc 201 through transfer credit I want to take my humanities elective second semester this year so I don't have to worry about it in 4th year.

So far the classes that look the classes with empty seats second semester that look the most interesting to me are intro to politics, intro to sociology, and intro to logic and critical thinking, but the ratemyprof pages for all the instructors aren't great so I wanted to know if any of those would be good courses or if there's another interesting course! I'd also be good with taking a 3rd year class instead of the elective if there's any that don't have the second semester classes as prereqs. Thanks!

Hi everyone! I am starting the teaching adolescents program starting in 2025 and I was wondering if anyone can give me insights on how the summer break works? I know there is a week at the end of june but is there any time off at the end of august before the practices starts? I am confused because it says the summer classes end aug13 and then the practicum starts in the last week of august?

Also is it possible to work part time during rhe program ?
