Why does the USL Championship suffer from lack of goals?
I see this as a big complaint from a lot of fan groups - the lack of goals. I really think this is a league-wide issue. Thought I'd compare it against a few other leagues and it's an issue. We're right up there with some of the more traditionally "boring" leagues like Serie A and La Liga.
Does anyone else think this is an issue? How can this be rectified? Be interested to hear people's thoughts.
League | Season (Goals Per Game) |
---|---|
Premier League (EPL) | 2023-2024 (3.28) |
Bundesliga | 2023-2024 (3.22) |
Major League Soccer (MLS) | 2024 (3.11 - regular season) |
La Liga | 2023-2024 (2.64) |
Serie A | 2023-2024 (2.61) |
USL Championship | 2024 (2.65) |

East West division next season??
With Brooklyn, Jax and Santa Barbara coming next year, we're going to be uneven. Do they realign the East West division?? And in the following year Buffalo and Dallas so who goes east who goes West??

What are your top 5 SG's in the USL?
In no particular order, mine have to be:
NGS (Detroit)
Defiance 1636 (Rhode Island)
The Bonanza/Raza Brava (Hartford)
The Steel Army (Pittsburgh)
The Curse (New Mexico)
HM:
Louisville, Indy Eleven, Tampa Bay
They don't break into my top five because for me, they seem pretty generic while the five I chose seem more passionate and connected to the team (no shade just personal opinion).

'Now is the time': Sporting Jax president eyes ambitious targets for soccer club...
Points I found interesting. They're looking for 100 acres for a stadium project because they don't just want a stadium that's going to be near impossible in the city. He also says they will implement division 1 and then 4 years later implement pro/rel with one up one down. I don't know if that's ironed out yet or that's just his opinion p
