Everybody Drops United
We will soon have lost almost all coverage. Endocrinology dropped UHC months ago. Capital Women’s Care dropped UHC 07/31/2025. Johns Hopkins dropping it 08/25/2025. Now University of Maryland is refusing to book autism spectrum appointment for March/April because they are stalled in negotiations with UHC also and soon could drop them.

I’m in the same boat with CWC and JHC, and no new options during open enrollment. Paying too much and getting nothing for it

I’m so sorry. I’m stressed about this every day and still holding out hope that Johns Hopkins will be in network.

My husband will stretch the truth with regard to telling HR that we had a ‘major life event’ when we need to change something with our benefits. It’s never not worked 🤷🏻♀️

We have to submit documentation supporting the change. There isn’t anything we can do.

Also, it’s a violation of EIRSA and state laws to fake a life-qualifying event. These are likely felonies.

Same for me. I don't even know where to start with finding new doctors. I am hoping open enrollment is a better option. I don't even know smh. I have nothing helpful to say, but I totally relate.

To be clear, this is not the fault of the provider groups, but the fault of the payer (United Healthcare). The provider and the payer are supposed to negotiate “in good faith” on behalf of the patient/member in network.

How do we prosecute UHC and jail their executives? And how is this not uppermost on the minds of anyone who needs healthcare and has either been denied it or ripped off by UHC?
