Does anybody know a good .sf2 for chamber xylophones?
As in, a whole orchestra full of xylophones playing, not just one solo instrument.

HG Fortune synths bugs
I'm really love how some old VSTs (like HG Fortune - Avatar ST, Alionoctis, etc) are creating those amazing vector ambient sounds, but suddenly, I've found some unexpected bugs that making those synthesizers sound worse. No wonder that old VSTs are have some problems with glitches, but nevertheless, they sound incredibly beautiful, so I'm really want to find a way to solve that.
The one of those problems is freezing of vector XY-modulation in the Avatar synth. Therefore, after rendering my FL-project, I'm getting a file, where this synth sounds without modulation, with frozen vector-modulation. So, this makes this synth sound less interesting and vector. It's a really huge problem. I tried to sample a waves from that synth and using them in my samplers, but still i want to make an orginal synth sound correct.
It's not a single trouble, that I have with old VSTs... For example, psychic modulatoin - aethereal has a glitch, that makes vector synthesis sound different, not how it was adjusted in the plugin. Also, in HG Fortune - Alionoctis I ran into a problem with a 3rd oscillator, that resets to the original value every time the plugin was reloaded. In particular, when rendering the project.
I know, maybe those quetions may sound weird, but I'm really worried about it. If you ran into those problems, I would want to hear about your experience

Scarlett Solo is too loud, gain breaks the sound
Hi, I bought a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4.ª gen and connected my electric guitar to the interface. Whenever I try any VST like Neural AMP Modeler, ToneLib, Guitarig... everything sounds incredibly loud and distored, I can't have a clean but high sound. I follow plugin tutorials step by step to get a certain guitar tone and it sounds fine on the tutorial but it sounds ear-busting on my headphones. I tried two different cables already.
I have Inst mode enabled and Focusrite ASIO drivers installed. ASIO is also the selected audio system. When I play the guitar, the knob on the Focusrite shows a subtle green indicator, like if I was playing very quietly, when in reaility the sound is extremely high.
I have already tried tweaking the knobs on my guitar to no avail. If I turn the gain knob to 3 or 4 I have to take my headphones off because it's so loud. What am I missing?

Which VST did Himesh Reshammiya Use In This Song For This Bass Sound?
On my request, please check out the very beginning of this song
https://youtu.be/T9JUhesotvQ?si=3Qn_VXNmJtn4CC4U
There is a bass type of sound here and I badly want to know the name of it.
Is it an omnisphere preset? Some nexus preset? Kontakt library?
Also, I'm pretty certain it's not a custom made synth sound by the composer. Because a similar sound was used by another composer in his song (Meri Kahani Mera Qissa Ho Tum - From the movie stop 2004 - the bass sound starts from 3:00 timestamp)
If anyone of you guys know it's name, please let me know in the comments.
Thankyou.

Instrument NeuralNote Live Midi Output?
Hey guys, I use MuseScore all the time for writing music. I really like it when I have a MIDI keyboard that I can connect to it and write notes really fast. I wanted to get some audio to MIDI converter (must be polyphonic for piano), and I am using SAVIHost to host just one vst, which I then import into MuseScore. I tried DODO Midi and it worked fine, except it could only handle one note at a time. I notice that in the .exe version of NeuralNote, it has an option for exporting as midi, but I haven't been able to get it to work live. I intend to use it for writing piano music with multiple chords often. It works great for recording and then importing, but all I need is a live audio to MIDI that I can use in MuseScore. I am fine with latency, as for sheet music writing I sometimes decide on different chords or whatever, latency isn't a problem. Has anyone figured out how to host a good, FREE polyphonic audio to midi VST?

How exactly do I configure Rolling Sampler to capture any audio on my system, whether in a DAW or outside of it? I can't configure it at all, no sound comes out.

Instrument orchestral vst recommendations?
Hey! I'm looking to upgrade my sample library. Right now, I mainly use a mix of Native Instruments freebies and the BBC Symphony Orchestra Core, which has been a solid foundation. I enjoy composing orchestral music in a video game style—think Nintendo, Octopath Traveler, sweet shoujo anime music, Yoko Kanno, and Joe Hisaishi.
I want to improve my overall sound quality, but I'm unsure what direction to take next. Should I invest in solo instruments? More detailed or expensive string libraries?
What were your first or second major investments when working in this genre?

SWAM (Audio Modeling instruments) - Experiences and when to buy
Hey all - I have been looking at SWAM instruments--mainly the saxes, trumpets, and veen the woodwinds.
For those who have used them or own them, what are your thoughts?
From all the demos I do think they sound quite good, better than I think any other options out there, though still not perfect. And they seem relatively user friendly too in terms of dialing in dynamics and "realness."
My main questions are, after using them what are your thoughts? Do you like them? Are they as user friendly as they seem on the demos, or are the demos so good because they have experts really dialing in the sound? How do they sound out of the box? What are your general pros and cons about them?
Beyond that, any familiarity with how often and when they have sales? The prices are very high for these--saxes and trumpets alone are I think $250 each, and the whole bundle is like $1400. Wondering if they have good sales and when so I can keep an eye out.
