Hey wtf happened to the Hiraeth EU release? I know it's pathetic, but I spent hours refreshing the page to try to get one, have been checking every once in a while all day today, it's kind of thrown off my flow for the whole weekend, this was the release I was focused on this time around and... nothing.

I know it's just plastic, but I have long said NMESH is basically the only vaporwave favorite of mine I don't have a physical of. This really soured my weekend. You have been doing epic work and I wish you all the best but I feel like I'm being punk'd or something

Hey dude, there was never any announcement regarding Hiraeth distro for this release. It's unfortunate this ruined your weekend, I'd keep an eye on our socials and bandcamp for overstock copies. We always order extras to cover any shipping errors or damage and after a month or so we list the remaining copies. You will have another chance to secure your copy!

All that being said, feel free to hit us up on Social Media or through the BC contact link, we generally do everything in our power to help people out who missed releases they wanted!

Thanks for replying. I guess I didn't read carefully. I could have sworn I saw a line about Hiraeth getting copies but I guess I was too hasty and assumed. And please note I was very careful to say in my original comment that it "soured" my weekend, not ruined; I'm not trying to be pedantic here, I just want to point out I didn't completely lose the plot and was at least trying not to act like an entitled man-child over a cassette tape.

I am crossing my fingers that maybe this and the FarragoL tape will pop up again on your merch page and in the meantime I bought one of FarragoL's "Best of" tapes off their page (hopefully that arrives with no hiccups and after I return from vacation) and I reminded myself that I do, in fact, have an NMESH physical, I snagged one of the last copies of the NMESH/telepath split and paid way too much for shipping but I guess FedEx priority is the only way to be sure an international package arrives undamaged and punctually.

And yes, I managed to snag one of the overstock copies of the FrankJavCee tape, a big W for my collection, for sure, and you even sent the matching aurora borealis sticker which I am sooo thankful for, even if I haven't used it yet. Creating a fresh design to match each release is a brilliant idea and mine looks amazing. It's too bad the copies via Hiraeth do not come with the stickers but I can imagine why and at that point groaning about stickers when I can get free shipping is really looking a gift horse in the mouth, especially since Hiraeth's distro enables reasonable access to vinyl releases where I would otherwise be unwilling to pay for (and gamble on) transatlantic shipping. I haven't had any real issues with tapes out of the Americas but I have had vinyls disappear and since last November I have had items be held hostage it seems; in one case 4 months delay and UPS made me go out to their depot near the airport to pick it up (and pay €10).

tl;dr - I appreciate you replying and I am seriously considering paying for international shipping on two particular potential overstock tapes, I know it's partially luck and I won't set my heart on it but it's a nice little dream. But the shenanigans that are the current norms at both your and our customs authorities is also a big reason (in addition to the cost and the shenanigans that the Deutsche Post and DHL put the little guy through in general) why I am hesitant to do transatlantic shipping, especially out of the USA.
