Hi everyone,
My name is Emma (43 trans woman), and I am looking to start a TTRPG group fortnightly on Wednesday evenings in Warrington. Im looking for a group of players, any age over 18 as games can have mature content and themes. Anybody with similar interests looking to throw some dice about?

On a recent cycle ride through Warrington I ended up here. A landmark in the towns industrial history now left in ruin.

I drove down Knutsford Road in Latchford earlier and saw a large group of folks wearing high vis heading away from town. Any idea what's going on - walking group? Some kind of protest?

Hello fellow Warringtonians...
I'm supposed to be running some workshops over at Norton Priory in October and need help with transportation.
I cannot drive (not allowed to.. epileptic...) and do not know anyone who owns a van big enough for transport for the wooden structure I am using as our 'studio space'.
What I need...
- Internal storage size: 2m height x 2.5m length (or opposite way round)
Dates and times:
- Friday 10th October between 10am and 6pm.
- Monday 13th October between 10am and 6pm
(could be the Sunday but just need to verify the exact times)
Myself and my partner would be there to load and unload.
If you know someone who could help, just message me here.
I live in Latchford, not far from the locks and Norton Priory is about a 20 minute drive.
So roughly about 1.5hrs maximum for each day and we can negotiate a price.

Hi everyone. I have only moved to Warrington a few days ago as I am starting a graduate job in Birchwood this month. I’m currently living myself so was wondering what there is to do. And also hoping to meet new people! I’m a 10 min walk from the city centre

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well!
I'm a student from Singapore and I absolutely love collecting postcards, and I would love to receive postcards from Warrington ! 🙂
If postcards aren’t available, I’d also really appreciate a greeting card, a city postcard, or even a small souvenir such as a keychain, local snack, flag, ornament, cap, T-shirt, or a handicraft.
If you’d like to help, please leave a comment, and I’ll send you my mailing address.
Thank you so much in advance!
Wishing you all the best and warm greetings from Singapore! 🇸🇬🤝🏴

Cheers

Ended up doing a bunch of pub quizzes on holiday and realised I've never really bothered doing one here. Which pubs do a good quiz night?

I’m the bar manager at the Eagle & Spaceman here in Warrington, we’re an American themed gastro pub based on Church Street (between tavern sports bar & the bulls head) and will be showing the games live every Sunday and are hoping to screen the Super Bowl live as well!

Does anyone know if Warrington has a similar publication to 'The Mill' in Manchester? I'm tired of the clickbait drivel and would be happy to pay for decent journalism on Warrington

Has anyone found anywhere that does seafood boils in Warrington?
I am DYING for a seafood boil but i don't want to go Manchester/Liverpool/Birmingham for one.
Does anyone know of a place in Warrington(or surrounding within 10 Miles) that does seafood boils (bonus points for takeout)
The closest i've found rn is Aros Kitchen doing shrimp n lobster tail cooked in seasoning but it's very little and there's no broth to dip with
There MUST be somewhere that does it in Warrington. Lowkey will pay someone to cook me one

As name suggests - I've had a PT for a bit but would appreciate working out with friends. My friends don't go to PureGym in town so it'd be nice to br able to workout with someone and motivate eachother and hang out and make the gym a bit more bareable and fun.

Hello there everybody, I'm wondering if Warrington ever gets small local original artist gigs and/or if there's anywhere or anyone that hosts them, I am aware that there are larger events in Warrington from time to time but as for smaller events I've not heard or seen anything
Bonus points if there's anywhere or anyone that does Rock, Metal, Goth, Punk or anything on those lines
If there is absolutely nothing at all then I apologise in advance, but anyone thinking about maybe promoting events can at least jot this post down as some interest should they take the plunge with this

Has Anyone been to the Hmv in town today and if so did you see any of the cherry bomb 10th anniversary albums by Tyler the creator?

Hi - I’m trying to find a series of ghost story books from Warrington author Wally Barnes.
All titled Ghosts Mysteries and Legends of Old Warrington. Think there are 3 parts.
They were published by owl books in the early 90s. Basically impossible to find online.
Long shot but if anyone knows anywhere I can buy/offer a price for any of these books please get in touch.

this is Deborah Dixon, she is the elected tax collector from Warrington Township. Mrs. Dixon is using taxpayer money, the finance her reelection campaign. this is in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which clearly addresses this type of behavior in various laws.
