Very effective rage bait

It's a couple that gave lectures about miscommunication in relationships. This was a staged case, if I can believe previous reddit posts.

Yo why is every parent comment having the same exact replies by you and that other person over and over? Is this whole thread just chatbots interacting with each other??

This is one of my favorite internet videos ever. It’s a must watch/must cry vibe.

It's fake.

Heard. Cause I guess you’ve never read a book, watched a movie or contemplated your own existence in the universe. You must be fun. 😂soulless my friend.

And I’m more referring to the video without the stupid news reel ai voice/edit.

u/Dr_SexDick Aug 12 '25

… look, I understand what you’re getting at, but the whole video is staged, that’s what he’s telling you. You can find meaning in it I guess but he’s an actor and this was scripted; in other words ‘It’s fake.’ Idk what you wanna hear, sweet lies?

u/leesharon1985 Aug 12 '25

Who the fuck cares ? What else can I tell you?

I reference this recent at work. I’ve been doing my job like 13 years and when I took over from the previous person I had a bin of cat 5 cables. I rarely had to order new ones and I started to replace them with cat 6 I got for free. I had no used for the old ones and when it was time to e-waste them. I’m like, I’m that guy with the cable wrapped around a stick thinking, I’ve used these cables for 13yrs and here I am just tossing them out.😂

If I remember correctly this was staged.

u/Even_Can_9600 Aug 09 '25

Not staged, but later he said he is fine with his wife, he loves his wife, there is no problem.

u/BroadStBullies91 Aug 10 '25

Always great to see the amount of people who likely have never experienced anything close to the type of long term committed relationship this guy has with his wife that have no idea how many times spouses who have been together say things like "ok alright I'm done" lol.

There is a 99% chance that this was just an awkward attempt by the wife to make a joke and lighten the situation with humor (saying he's crying because he's wearing his Jets hat when the Jets are well known as a bit of a joke franchise backs that up) and a few seconds after this video ends she's probably apologizing and offering support once she realizes he's actually in his feelings.

I once heard Reddit described as the website whose opinion you follow if you want to die alone.

Im sure there been married for a long time and she's just trying to make light of the situation but this does expose the reason men don't share thier feelings.

I have been married to an amazing woman for 24 years who's loving and supportive but I never opened up to her until recently.

She didnt know until 10 years into our marriage about the childhood abuse I suffered through, partially because I just assumed that everyone's family was like that as because I felt like I would be seen as weak if I complained about it. She always knew my family dynamic was strange and would comment that I would switch around the like the Manchurian Candide. We eventually went to marriage counseling mainly because other friends were doing it and my wife thought it would make us closer.

Luckily the counselor could tell I was masking something and refused to elaborate on certain things. After opening up, she said I won't the award of worst childhood ever, even though I either didnt think much of it or forced myself to forget traumatizing events.

Even after that, I still hid my feelings from her and always projected a happy facade until she started to notice the cracks in my mask.

I open up to her fully now and realize how blessed I am to have a loving supportive woman and am doing much better mentally. I haven't cried since I was 12 after making a concise decision after a bad bout of bullying and even worse home life, but now that I feel supported, the dam is slowly eroding.

Don't be afraid to share your feelings and hold on to those that love your inner self with dear life

Look I understand where he's coming from completely, and as a man , I totally feel what this man is saying ... But his wife fuckin cooked him ahaaaaaaa "I seen you wearing your jets hat I thought that's why you were crying" MAN

1

u/_Danizzy_ Aug 11 '25

Sorry to break this to you guys, but giving someone a hard time about their sports team after they try to drop some profound shit on you about their mortality is comedy gold.

Trying to frame this as a crime against men sharing their feelings is ridiculous. He was talking about a spool of wire not the death of a loved one.

1

u/genericaccountname90 Aug 12 '25

I feel so bad for the man in this fake video 😢

u/efdp1970 16d ago

Perhaps she is not insensitive, only dumb...

I know it’s fake but damn. At least pretend you care (if it was real)
