Yes, but if this was unexpected, there would have been a reaction...

The camera didn't shake even a little bit. If you watched your kid toss a phone in water, would you stand frozen? No laughing at him trying to sign a fish in his pocket either...

If this wasn't rehearsed, than why didn't the cameraman even flinch when the kid threw a "perfectly functional" cell phone in the water... Or giggle when he tried to stuff a fish in his pocket... perfectly still, but still held in his hand.
