We’re pretty similar in gear lists and build, except I haven’t learned fly fishing enough, so my fishing gear is heavier. Do you need a net? I ended up leaving mine behind a while ago. Maybe it’s harder to land your fish with the fly setup?
I don’t have much feedback for you other than the clothes note you got in the other thread. I wonder if you’re carrying 2x sun hoody and shorts or are you wearing one and carrying the other? You def don’t need to double up.
Also, I carry the same chair and people have laughed, but for me it’s worth it. For bigger guys like us, our gear weighs more. I can’t use a shorty sleeping pad. I think you’re about as dialed in as you’re going to get.

I like the net because it allows me to not handle the fish any more than I have to. I only keep one on occasion to eat. I think I’m going to cut down the number of flies I have in my box. My fly box with all of my droppers in it, is a lead weight! I can probably cut it by half.

I am doubled up on shorts/sun hoodie. I am wearing one, the other is in pack. The chair is a non-negotiable! 😂 There’s nothing better than sitting in the chair next to a river or stream, and enjoying a coffee in the morning!

I appreciate the input, brother!

If you’re wearing one set and packing the other, you should categorize the first as worn weight on lighterpack. I do the same.

Tight lines! Hope to see ya out there

Enjoy your chair, of course. But if you’re up for an ultralight compromise, Litesmith makes a <3oz “chair” consisting of a fabric sling and crossed carbon fiber back supports. Your ass weight hold the fabric down and you can lean back into the supports. And from there make and enjoy coffee.
