Im currently reading “The Big Burn” and the parallels between then and now is mind blowing. After TR left office the President and many members of Congress were vehemently opposed to the FS and were doing damn near everything in their power to destroy the agency.

Would be interesting to see somebody bring back something like the Bull Moose Party. The times are so similar. I just joined their sub as I’ve been thinking about that book, Pinchot, and Roosevelt lately.

Check out The River of Doubt if you haven't read it. TR puts the current orange guy to shame when it comes to real toughness and carrying his own weight.

River of Doubt is an epic read!! TR was indeed a badass. By comparison, Trump remains a punk-ass grifter and JD could benefit from less eyeliner and a good bitch-slapping.

I've been screaming that since about 2017. Its amazing the people that dont know what that is. I was posting the fire side chats of the Roosevelt era last year leading up to the election. Had no bearing on my MAGA worped community. & after watching them post the dumbest of DEM memes & listening to them go on overtime ranting since 2020 on FB, I post a couple WTF posts not agreeing saying im concerned because his decisions will effect me & you'd think I smacked a new born. Silly of me to think that I could adult talk, but not a chance with their brain rot & STD. "Sycophantic Trump Disease".
