She’s missing the point, Wildland bros wouldn’t wear N95’s or use SCBA even if we had the option. The logistics would be insane to replace oxygen tanks on the line and it’d make our job that much harder. It’s just a risk of the trade we all accept.

I think a lot of people also don’t seem to understand how n95’s work. They’re meant to mostly keep particles in not to filter them out, so you’re just creating a closed system where you’re breathing in the particles that don’t get filtered stay in your lungs
