My bet is Spain, though it could be Greece or Italy by the vegetation. Cant make out the voices in the background to tell the language tho

You good, looks like you have good defensible space. I’d probably just wet the dead grass around your house.

Random landowners firing off ad hoc backfires. What’s the worst that can happen? I bet Ed Pulaski would have had some thoughts.

I knew of a Cal Fire captain that went rogue on a major fire in SoCal, lit a backfire inn a bad spot without telling anyone in that division and it hit a house up canyon pretty hard and killed a local government firefighter.
I almost had that happen to me but it was my own Captain that set a backfire that almost took out me and two other, one of whom was the Chief of the neighboring department!

Looks like you’re on a road. Just grab a torch or a couple of fusses. Anchor it in and start firing

Looks like Queensland. A flat and couple buddy would knock the piss out that.

This reminds me of a couple of years ago. Town ordinance enforced for the 4th of July worried about fireworks lightning my tall grass backyard on fire... I back burned my entire yard. Even had a halfway decent yard the following summer. LMAO. Oh... ya town enforcement has left me alone ever since.
