Restaurant Wings Finally tried the wings in Buffalo, and…

Made it over to Duffs and Kellys Korner on 8/1. They were ultimately the 2 places along my roadtrip easiest to pop into. I really wanted to try Adolfs, Barbill and Wingnutz but didnt have the time.

Duffs had the best wings ive ever had. Presentation, taste, crispiness. All were excellent. I ordered the #2 lunch combo Hot with fries. I didnt even know what to do with the plate below the bucket. Haha. A+.

Kellys Korner was a bit of a let down. I ordered 10 or 12 Hot. Seemed like the local dive bar and the wing order came out super slow ha. Thats fine, but then the locals drinking at 12noom were all teasing me like i was a high roller for ordering wings. I dunno the experience, taste, presentation, crispiness all were subpar. 6/10.

Overall very happy i got the chance to try Duffs and cant wait to return to try a few more.

Ok on the ride home 8/16 i drove to Scubbers Hot Wings in Colonie/Albany. After a 6 hour ride i get there and there are handwritten closed signs on the doors and windows. Just said CLOSED. I think the soda fountain had a sign too. I heard they had super spicy wings (atomic) & was so let down when they were unexpectedly closed.

They literally closed like two weeks ago. The owner died and his wife and kids kept it going but wore out. You might be able to find some of their sauce tho, they bottled it.

I'm just replying to the comment above to drive Bar-Bill home in your head. Make sure you go to the one in East Aurora if you're making the trip. The one in Williamsville is good but not the same.

Lemon Pepper wings are my jam but all of them are good. The family always makes a point to go there whenever we're in town.. Even over Duffs or the Anchor bar. Mom used to work at a lot of places around town in the 80/90's but not there. She knew the owner. Dude sold it in the 2000's but kept it family owned and run. SHE REFUSES TO GO ANYWHERE for wings today other than there when she's in town.

So it's worth the shout out for sure if you've never been
