Restaurant Wings Finally tried the wings in Buffalo, and…

Made it over to Duffs and Kellys Korner on 8/1. They were ultimately the 2 places along my roadtrip easiest to pop into. I really wanted to try Adolfs, Barbill and Wingnutz but didnt have the time.

Duffs had the best wings ive ever had. Presentation, taste, crispiness. All were excellent. I ordered the #2 lunch combo Hot with fries. I didnt even know what to do with the plate below the bucket. Haha. A+.

Kellys Korner was a bit of a let down. I ordered 10 or 12 Hot. Seemed like the local dive bar and the wing order came out super slow ha. Thats fine, but then the locals drinking at 12noom were all teasing me like i was a high roller for ordering wings. I dunno the experience, taste, presentation, crispiness all were subpar. 6/10.

Overall very happy i got the chance to try Duffs and cant wait to return to try a few more.

If you go to the real Duff's (Sheridan/Millersport) and order "hot", you may end up with something totally different than what's in your picture. If you go to the real Kelly's Korner (Delaware/Hartwell) and order "hot", you'll end up with a brownish, almost-BBQ sauce. I'm still laughing at that "Kelly's Corner" pic. It's so downwardly mobile.

Fun fact… when duff’s opened their Texas location, the OG hot is medium in Texas. No clue if it’s as good as the original duff’s locations, but I do know they’re the best wings I’ve had in Texas.
