I was going to say that they looked like wings from a Chinese restaurant - and the ingredients lists reflects that! woksoflife is a great site.

Chinese fried chicken is so good. Don’t get me wrong, I’m here for the typical dishes but fried chicken always slaps

You can swap out the spices and pretty much do whatever flavor you want. Just keep the egg, soy and cornstarch
