Wingstop hits sometimes

Wingstop is the best and cheapest wing spot near me (make of that what you will). The wings usually hit, but their sides aren’t that good, especially the fries.

Extra seasoning and cheese cup and they are elite

Change them completely and they are good is what I read.

No? They're seasoned already. Ask for extra. It comes with a dip. Get cheese.

So, not how they come.

Getting them “not how they come” is different from “change completely” if I got a cheeseburger and added bacon because I think it’s better with bacon I didn’t change it completely lol

Yeah, you did. Went from a cheeseburger, to a bacon cheeseburger. A completely different flavor profile was added with the introduction of bacon.

It is still 80% the same product. (Bottom bun, top bun, meat, cheese). If I was fully dressed and took off my socks am I completely naked?

That’s a ridiculous argument, you’d taste different with socks on.

I didn’t even consider that. That’s my b

That isn’t a different flavor profile. It just adds to the already existing flavor profile. You don’t know what a flavor profile is.

Sure, I’ll take your discerning palate and culinary prowess as a lurker of r/wings into account. Must be a real Julia Childs.

“A flavor profile is the complete sensory experience of a food or drink, encompassing the five basic tastes (sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and umami), as well as aromas, textures, and the intensity of spice or temperature”. You’re telling me there are no added tastes, aromas, or textures when adding BACON of all things. It looks like you, sir or ma’am, are the one who knows fuck all about flavor profile.

Keyword there that you used is “added” as in the bacon adding to the existing flavor profile. You’re wrong, it’s okay bud.

Love the fry seasoning but theyre always soggy. Dear wing stop, learn about double fry or fry them from frozen

The fries (at least where I love) USED to be top-tier fries. They must’ve changed them in the last year or so, because they were so so bad.

The wings look decent. Those fries look like they need some help…

I always throw mine in the air fryer when I get home

I usually do the same with the wings from there. Try to avoid chains in general for wings but there’s a Wingstop just down the street so I make an exception for them but always have to continue cooking the wings and fries. Always question why I even bother ordering from there.

at least from where I am wing stop is the only place that is even remotely decent for the price you pay.

The only chain in my area that I actually really like the wings is Pluckers. I think it’s just TX and maybe Louisiana though. Mom and pop spots or dive bars are the best options here if not making them at home.

Freaking genius idea!

My store switched to the new fries. Much appreciated change

Came here to say this. I don’t understand how a chain can have such shit fries on a consistent basis. They aren’t exactly hard to make, and you can just source good ones for cheap if you’re that lazy.

I will say their quality of corn has vastly improved so I usually go with that.

That's standard for Wing Stop fries but OP find one that actually makes good looking wings.

I absolutely demolished 10 of their Atomic wings for dinner last night. 10/10 would recommend

Bruh their new fries are the worst.

1

u/FkedbySatan 1d ago

Cajun is definitely the best that they have imo

1

u/zemelb 1d ago

Those fries look absolutely disgusting. 🤢

u/cheesypieceofpizza 1d ago

15

u/Cousin_Oliver 1d ago

10 pc bone in with fries and a 20 oz drink is $15.49

2

u/cheesypieceofpizza 1d ago

Luck you! Not where I am from

1

u/jason_sation 1d ago

Wow! I’d do that for lunch!

-7

u/JH10_to_LM15 1d ago

20$ for lunch is wow to you? wtf?

5

u/jason_sation 1d ago

$15.49? I’d get that instead of a McDonald’s combo

0

u/JH10_to_LM15 20h ago

You’d be dumb af.

0

u/cheesypieceofpizza 1d ago

The 10 piece bone in combo is 20.19 without tax

u/Cousin_Oliver 1d ago

Ah, looks like they change the price based location. I’m in the Midwest and not in a big city.
