Homemade Wings Wings
I made a meal for the family. The wings are lightly dusted in corn starch. Left in the fridge over night to dry. Twice fried. Sauce is 2 cups franks one cup butter. I added a diced jalapeno red pepper flakes, a fuck ton of black pepper just for thr visual appearance. Garlic and quite a bit of cayenne. Was a pretty good meal. Ill definently be making the sauce like this again.

Restaurant Wings 2nd year in a row of stopping at Bar Bill on a road trip.
I really enjoyed the heat level of their hot. Is it just me, or does it seem like many restaurants' "hot" sauces just tastes like mild.

Wing Tips Got some Wingstop last night. I froze the leftovers, what’s the best way to reheat them ( I’ve never reheated chicken in my life)
I don’t have an air fryer but my counter top oven has an air fryer setting.
Before I stored them in the freezer, I wrapped them individually in foil and placed them in air tight container.
What do I do guys, I never have reheated wings cuz I never had em before and this was my first Time trying wings

Question Best Wings Near Ithaca, NY… go!!
I notice there are a lot of Upstate NYers (or visitors) on this sub. Makes sense given how awesome the wings are ‘round these parts. I’d love to crowdsource recs near Ithaca, as I’m new to the area and hoping to discover some hidden gems. Willing to travel an hour or so!

Homemade Wings Preparing Before A Party
Having a party in a few weeks and wings are part of the menu. Logistically, I need to cook the wings before the party and they will be done about 90 prior to the start of the party. Would you keep them in an oven for 90 minutes, or cool them in the fridge and heat just prior to the start?
Would you also wait to sauce (buffalo and garlic parm) or just let them sit in the sauce for 90 minutes.

Question Best Seasoning Tray Solution?
Maybe an odd post, but I am 100% hooked on wings ever since learning about the vortex method and the techniques to achieving smoky, crispy skin wings. I find myself cooking chicken wings 3-4 times a week, and I can't get enough. Often times I am doing different seasonings on some of the wings while also making standard SPG wings for everyone else at the same time. Where I'm struggling though is I don't have a lot of room in my kitchen to breakdown enough wings to feed my family, AND seasoning them without making a mess or a stack of dishes.
Question is, what are you guys using to breakdown, and season with various seasonings with minimal dishes/cleanup?
I've considered one of those collapsible BBQ tubs, but I'm afraid those don't come in large enough of a size. My dream would be to have a dedicated outdoor butcher block prep table like ChudsBBQ has, but the budget doesn't allow for anything like that at the moment..

Question Roasted wings
Idk about the US but in europe(germany italy austria and some other places) a lot of the grocery stores have a section of cooked foods and sometimes you can find chicken wings/drumsticks. They are roasted not fried and they have a very special taste and seasoning and they arent covered in sauces either. I really like that taste and have wondered what they put in it so i can make it at home too. Do you know?

Restaurant Wings Finally tried the wings in Buffalo, and…
Made it over to Duffs and Kellys Korner on 8/1. They were ultimately the 2 places along my roadtrip easiest to pop into. I really wanted to try Adolfs, Barbill and Wingnutz but didnt have the time.
Duffs had the best wings ive ever had. Presentation, taste, crispiness. All were excellent. I ordered the #2 lunch combo Hot with fries. I didnt even know what to do with the plate below the bucket. Haha. A+.
Kellys Korner was a bit of a let down. I ordered 10 or 12 Hot. Seemed like the local dive bar and the wing order came out super slow ha. Thats fine, but then the locals drinking at 12noom were all teasing me like i was a high roller for ordering wings. I dunno the experience, taste, presentation, crispiness all were subpar. 6/10.
Overall very happy i got the chance to try Duffs and cant wait to return to try a few more.

Homemade Wings Tried something new
Have been using this pepperoncini hot sauce on sandwiches lately and thought the vinegary flavor would be great on wings. Used it for the marinade/rub and then some for dipping when they were done. They were great and tasted like nothing I’ve had before. I baked them in a 450deg oven. Going to fry them next time and toss them in the sauce.

Restaurant Wings Weekend Buffalo Trip
I posted a couple months ago about a weekend trip to buffalo to try the top wings to get some recommendations from you all. Just wanted to post the results of that trip for everyone to enjoy!
Photos in order are:
Wingnutz Wing Flight Wingnutz Buffalo Hot Duffs Medium Hot Kelly’s Korner Homemade Hot Nine Eleven Hot Adolfs Hot Bar Bill Hot
I think the best wing was nine eleven tavern but they scored second to Adolfs overall because they have a store bought blue cheese.

Homemade Wings Mid cook tonight
First wing cook in my new apartment. Baking sheet bent halfway through I guess because the heat was too high. Messed me up a bit but still turned out okay.
