The addiction is real

I keep saying “I’m going to take a break and not play Witcher at any given free time I have” and then I see posts on this subreddit and next thing I know I got Witcher 3 loaded on my Switch and half the day has gone by.

Discussion How does Radovid know about the megascope crystal after I chose not to show it to him?

Eariler in my play-through during “Redania’s Most Wanted” I had the option to show Radovid the megascope crystal found in Philippa’s hideout OR lie and tell him I found nothing- I chose the latter. Now, I’m at the point in the story after the battle of Kaer Morhen where you’re tying up loose ends in Novigrad. During the quest “Reason of State”, Radovid says something to suggest that he knows about the crystal even though I decided not to tell him about it. Is this normal or did I fuck up somehow?

Sharing my immersive mods

Hey! I wanted to share these mods I made to make the game feel more authentic in certain aspects like

  • The bestiary shows drawings of how the creatures should look based on beliefs.
  • The journal is now a sort of sketchbook (made by dandelion?).
  • (This is my favourite one) All Gwent decks are based on real medieval decks; cards are old, dirty as if they belonged to a peasants deck (Skellige is elegant since its new and from Toussaint); each faction has new leaders instead of Eredin1-2-3, Emhyr 1-2-3, etc.

You can find these here on Nexus, I made them a couple of months ago. I don’t remember posting them here before, so I hope you like them :). If you have any questions or feedback ill be happy to answer.

I mean quest that wouldn't be able if I leave Novigrad, finished all the main quests and just have to do bit of Truss , Dandelion and Zoltan but aside from these is there something I'm missing?

Lost money selling upgraded runes/glyphs

What am I doing wrong? I took all my lesser runes and upgraded them to the greater variety. I bought recipes from the peller, had Yoana do the upgrades and was going to sell to Hattie after comparing prices of all the high level merchants he would pay the most.

The cost of upgrading all the glyphs was a little over $96k. I added up how much Hattori would buy them for and it was $69k.

I had read this was how people made lots of money. Am I doing something wrong? Has it been nerfed?

Ahh, I hate the missables in Heart of Stone.

Reloaded because because I missed the silver sword in O'Dimm's world, reloaded again because I missed a final scene with Shani.

Just started - level 8 and getting frustrated 😔 help?

I really want to love this game. But I keep dying at the dumbest monsters, like a water hag. I’m trying everything - oils, hit and dodge, quen and igni, swallow potion. Then it takes forever for the game to reload. To the point where I want to just give up. I have it on the easiest setting. I’m not a “gamer”, but I loved Skyrim so I thought this would be a good next.

GAME RATE | Base game : 10/10 | DLC B&W : 10/10 | DLC HoS : 10/10

TROPHY DIFFICULTY | Base game : 5/10 | DLC B&W : 3/10 | DLC HoS : 3/10

Did it back in the days when it released, in 2015, and since then, it became my favorite game ever. Ten years later, i thought it was about time to do it again. SPOIL : still my N°1.

I was wondering about how hard would the "Death March" difficulty hits. Turn out it was pretty easy (and i mean it), except the first 2 hours where u get bully by any ghoul on your way, but then, with appropriate stuff, you just roll on the game. All of you have to do is paying attention to the few missable trophies, but it doesnt get anoying or anything, just being aware is the key. I know for some people the gwent part is painful, but as i truly loved this card game (did 100% on the gwent standalone game), it was nowhere a pain in the ahh to me.

Overall, this game is a truly masterpiece, from the soundtrack (do i have to mention "The fields of Ard Skellig"...?) to the cutscenes, passing throught many memorables characters. I loved everything. And what can i tell about the Blood & Wine DLC oh man... this is pure poetry fr. I can 100% recommand TW3 to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

So long, witcher..

Discussion Level requirements system on missions

So, I am 8 hours into the game, and tbh, its does not "catched" me up so far. I dont know exactly what bothers me, but having to worry about my level before starting a mission is just non-sense. Like, someone ask for my help, and while im on level 5, the mission requires 33 levels ????? Im not exactly talking about the difficulty of the game itselff, but Id rather if it was automatically balanced
