Discussion Level requirements system on missions

So, I am 8 hours into the game, and tbh, its does not "catched" me up so far. I dont know exactly what bothers me, but having to worry about my level before starting a mission is just non-sense. Like, someone ask for my help, and while im on level 5, the mission requires 33 levels ????? Im not exactly talking about the difficulty of the game itselff, but Id rather if it was automatically balanced

If it's a few levels high then no problem you can do it but if it's way too high then it's a sign that you are supposed to do it later when you have leveled up.

I think i know what mission you're talking about. You can ignore it until later. You can ignore contracts first.

The current area you're in, Velen, has encounters of various levels. So, be careful when you encounter bandits or monsters. If it's above up to 5 levels, you can approach it.

Don't worry about it so much. I've accepted contracts or quests that are much higher level than I am, and just held on to them until I was able to take them on. Unlike enemies, you can't set a preference for your level scaling with a job, or vice-versa. Personally, I love having dozens of jobs awaiting my ability to take them on. It gives me the power to choose.
