Tesham Mutna Armour

Best freaking armour ever. Looks amazing, the perks are insane, I’m level 46 and I’m still using Tesham. What’s your favourite armour and why? Taking notes 📝 😅

Its hard for me to get away from Manticore.  Its cheap, looks good, provides sword bonuses, and is medium.  I'm not saying its the best, but it has a blend of everything I'm looking for.

I almost always get Aerondight, so I have to be willing to sacrifice that 6th piece bonus.  This brings the other school gear down a notch.

Agreed. Better. Stats are the same but you get it at a higher level, so the damage output of the swords is significantly higher, especially due to how quickly you level up in blood and wine. The drawback is that you have to take that ending to get the full set, you disappoint Regus, miss out on the land of fables and banging Syanna and can't get the overall "happy/best" outcome of the DLC. It's the choice I take in a vanilla playthrough, just for the set, but not in NG+. Same can be said for the ending of hearts of stone... in vanilla I let Mirror have his way so I can have the saddle for NG+, but in NG+ I go for my preferred outcome of defeating Mirror.

Stats are not the same. Hen Gaidth has higher resistances.

Griffin gear with a full sign build is very enjoyable. You become very aard to deal with.

My favorite armor set is Griffin. It outdoes every other armor set in every way. Wolf, Cat, and Bear sets all excel in their particular skills, but Griffin with Euphoria mutation has it all. It tanks, it outputs the best AOE damage, has respectable sword damage, has the highest heals from DOT damage with the right decoctions, has THE BEST 6 piece bonus out of all sets, and makes you look like a knight. Is easy to set up without needing to go into your inv to chug a bunch of potions...

It's just better than any other option.

I love that armor. My only 2 criticisms are from the back the connecting parts look like pijamas and that damned clanking sound it makes moving around. But its cool enough to get away with it.
