Misc One of my favorite quests in this game. Please ignore how bad I am at fighting. xd

I heard this quest was made in an update a long time after the game was released. I really hope the quests in Witcher 4 will be up to that standard, I had so much fun during it! ^_^ Also loved that there are so many ways it can end.

Help! Reason of State? More like State of Confusion!

Right, so this is my second playthrough of the game. Last time I played I ade a few mistakes but somehow still wound up getting the Witcher ending. Do I HAVE to do Reason of State? I'm well aware the quest was crunched and Djikstra is very out of character. Last time I killed both Radovid and him. I'm not sure what to do this time. I'm aiming for the Witcher ending for Ciri; how does this quest affect that if at all? It's been a long while and I can't see to find a concise straight answer.

Mods for ps5?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I’m not great with technology, but is it possible to add mods to my Witcher 3 game on my ps5? I see all of you guys doing all this cool stuff on your computer setups, so I thought I would ask. : )

What are some of your favorite funny moments in the game

One of mine is when Geralt asks Olgierd to play Gwent. After an entire playthrough of going well out of your way to play Gwent, it just feels so natural to you. Then he calls you out about how ridiculous you are. And the look on Geralts face shows a man that is serious about his Gwent and where it falls in his list of priorities.

And of course: "I believe thats the worst windup I have ever heard"

Discussion The Endless Rain!

Anyone else play and get a nearly 90% rain or storm weather playthrough?

It's been that way for me.

The only time I have nice weather was when I just got to Toussaint!

Can't Load PS5 Save on Switch 2 Due to Missing DLC (Like Skellige) - Bought Switch Version Specifically for Portable Continuation, Need Help

Hey everyone,

I was playing The Witcher 3 on my PC a long time ago and then continued on PS5. And recently bought the Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 eShop, hoping to continue my PS5 save on the go for that sweet portability. I own the full game with all DLC on all three platforms (PC, PS5, and Switch 2), and I've enabled cross-progression via GOG account on both.

Here's the issue: When I try to load my PS5 cloud save on Switch 2, it says I'm missing some DLC content (minor ones like Skellige-related content, even though the Complete Edition should have everything). This might be preventing me from using my save. I've created new manual saves with the cloud icon, and tried logging in/out of GOG multiple times. Still no luck – it just won't load without erroring out on missing content.

I also have the PC version, but I can't access my PC right now (traveling). Is there a way to fix this without PC as a bridge? Or any online tool/service to download/edit the save file to bypass the DLC check?

Has anyone run into this exact problem with PS5-to-Switch cross-save? How did you solve it? I really don't want to start over after 60 hours on PS5. Any tips or workarounds would be amazing! Can someone help me with this issue?

Thanks in advance

(Playing on Switch 2 for portability was the dream, but this is killing it 😩)

I feel overwhelmed by all of the potions and dedoctions, I have them all but I only use Swallow, Thunderbolt and Killer Whale.

Please explain to me in which situations you like to use others. Thank you

Picked up the Witcher 3 wind hunt on switch the other day and holy hell I’ve been missing out on a fantastic game. I have it on my steam deck also but never gave it the chance. I’m hooked!

On my first proper playthrough after owning the game for years now and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get into it. Only 10 hours in and can already tell this will be one of my all time favs! (Also one of the most gorgeous games i’ve played as you can see)

Discussion How long to Platinum + 100% complete main game and DLC?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hi Everyone, I have a question. For folks who have done it, how long on average does it take to get the platinum trophy plus 100% completion for Witcher 3 + all DLC content? I’ve never played it (going in completely blind) but I’m considering tackling it. I’m a completionist, so I’ll go for all the trophies for 100% completion. For reference, I recently completed my platinum for Red Dead Redemption 2 which took me 428 hours so I enjoy a long platinum challenge. Will this game take a similar amount of time? I love open world games with a good story and a good fantasy theme, so I’m very confident I’ll really enjoy this game. I’m not sure why I’ve never played it, but I hear the remaster for PS5 is great. I’ve included a pic of games that I’ve really enjoyed and completed to 100% so far…Thanks!

Discussion Anyone use roach while exploring?

Pretty much the title, and just a random curious question.

I ask this because I have realised that I never travel anywhere on horseback. I end up running between fast travel signposts (randomly collecting plants) just in case I miss an undiscovered location (can't help getting distracted by side quests, dammit 🙄) and also to knobble random enemies.

So apart from legging it to the nearest signpost if one is focussing on a quest, is there any other reason to ride your horse (apart from "because I enjoy doing so" - and horse racing if you are into that)?

Hello, I know I am late to the party but I just finished my first playthrough (main story + both DLCs) and now I sit here pondering : "How the hell could I live without this masterpiece?" Cannot wait to play it again, this time using more alchemy and mainly, playing gwent! Have a nice day fellas.
