I made a Myrddraal Respect Thread, thought you people might enjoy it.

I'm baffled by that subreddit. What exactly is going on there?

r/respectthreads is a sister subreddit to r/whowouldwin.
r/whowouldwin is about proposing hypothetical battles between different characters that would never usually occur. People then debate who would win that scenario, based off what each character can (or would) do.
e.g. Who would win if a Myrddraal (Wheel of Time) fought Jaime Lannister (Game of Thrones)?
In the above battle, they are both skilled swordsmen, but the Myrddraal is superhuman compared to people in Game of Thrones. So it wins because it is faster and stronger.
But what if you don't know what both of the characters can do? That is what r/respectthreads is for.
Fans of a work (like me), write a respect thread for a character, outlining the most important feats, powers and abilities that character has, along with anything else they think might be relevant. This lets people who have never read Wheel of Time, but who have read Game of Thrones, participate in the discussion.

The only criticism I really have is that without context, a few of the feats become meaningless for someone unfamiliar with the series. Comparing them to Aiel warriors, for example, kind of needs a bit of expansion on how badass Aiel warriors are.
Also, make absolutely sure that you don't reference Shaidar Haran in these feats. At least one (listed below) that you used is definitely Superfade, and he's much bigger and implied to be more powerful than any normal Myrddraal.
The Myrddraal did not even shift its stance. Casually it caught her by the throat, raised her straight-armed till her feet left the floor.
This one is Superfade, too, though I think this one is believable for a regular Fade.
Stopping by her servants, the Myrddraal bent to grip them by the backs of their necks, one hand to each.
Those hands tightened to the surprisingly loud sound of cracking bone. The young man spasmed as he died, kicking out; the young woman merely went limp.
The mention of their post-death flailing could deal with a tiny bit of expansion, at least to mention that it's not a short-term thing and that a Myrddraal corpse remains dangerous for as long as hours even after being beheaded.
Still, this is a great respect thread, so kudos. Good quotations, well supported.

Interesting idea, you should spoiler tag this for readers who haven't finished the series
