Such a good story! Love reading this one.

I thoroughly enjoyed the back story connection with Mystique. Was this the first time they elaborated on it?

So... Wolverine boned Nightcrawler's mama, that's some friend 🙄🙄🙄

Technically she’s not the mom, that would be destiny. Mystique did fertilize the egg with her shape shifting abilities.

Well that's what Claremont wanted, but I have the issues where it's revealed to be belasco

I never did enjoy the whole “Azazel” as his father. Oh sure Nightcrawler looks like a devil, he’s deeply catholic but making his dad a literal devil is just….. blah. And mind you this came out about 25 years, so the audience has followed along Nightcrawler to know who his real nature.

Yeah I don't much like it either, right up there with wolverine being no mutant, but I have those issues where yes they confirmed belasco is his genetic father

Oh wow! Yeah, i'd be bothered with that too.... that was the WHOLE Point of 90s Era Dog Wolverine. It was that whole question "was he the adamantium or was he more?" And yes, it was too weird for most people but it proved the point he was a mutant.

I do think a lot of people have a "head cannon." And to be fair, some editors are a mess, and characters do come off weird on other titles. The whole point of X-Men they are always changing, always evolving. Some people need to learn to go along for the ride, it's always going to change.

Notice that wolverine's hyper evolved wolverine story was recycled for Rocket Raccoon, which is also fin since the guardians of the Galaxy are like surrogate for the X-Men in the MCU continuity, this is further illustrated on ultimate mvc3 when in rickets first appearance he has an Australian accent... Who also had an Australian accent in their first televised appearances??

HAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA HAHA

I actually Own the Half World adventures because it was Mike Mignola. But, kinda am give or take when they made it into "it was all in his head." But I do love that style of comic, beheading evil robot clowns and then fighting off evil Rabbits as he romances a ferret princess. Rocket is as much a Wolverine stand in.... lmao, I don't like how the movies, Rocket is the one who points out Goose is a Flerken.

What’s up with that mega-chad chin?

I don’t see it—I think it’s fine. But I will take “mega-chad” with me for later use.
