I remember when Facebook (ruled by yank sensibilities), censored a Norwegian children's show, because it showed nudity when teaching kids about anatomy.

Or when John Oliver’s video on John Dillermand (The danish children’s show for kindergarten kids) got taken down because… some things are only seen sexually by some

The flag of Virginia has faced occasional controversy for its design. In 2010, then-Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli gave his staff lapel pins depicting an older version of the flag that lacked the exposed breast of Virtus.[14] Similarly, in 2025, Lamar Consolidated Independent School District in Texas banned students from reading about the state of Virginia due to the exposed female breast depicted on the flag.[15][16]

American censorship is really stupid

Idk which of this is still in action, but I remember watching a documentary about their weird censorship from the past.
Like a movie can't contain a scene of a weapon being aimed at a person, or something. Tiktok level of bullshit.

Imo there’s just too much violence in movies and sex on tv

I don't know why films have to show that much violence which isn't often part of the story. Although sex and nudity should be normalised even more for several reasons.

Where are those good old fashioned values, on which we used to rely?

Unfortunately, (thanks to Mary Whitehouse) prudency infects the UK, as a result, our media is also very censored for 'good taste', which means no naughty words before 9pm

And it’s not shocking that American companies like Mastercard and Visa are freaking out over the prospect of consenting adults seeing peepee parts in their games.
