Any place to rent gas mopads ?
Hey guys
I'm here visiting as a tourist and would like to explore the greater area around yerevan with my friends. In the Balkans and Asia I've always driven on mopads and it's the best way to explore. However I'm struggling to find places in Yerevan? Is there any service to rent mopads from company or locals?
Thanks 🙏🏼

Affordable gyms
It’s been so hard for me to find a gym here that’s affordable. In the states, I was paying about 10,000 a month for a full membership. Any recommendations?

Activities in Yerevan
I’m trying to find something fun to do in Yerevan that’s not super expensive and that I can actually stick to like dance, cooking, or any other activity with a routine. Most of the cool stuff I see is pricey 😅 I’ll be starting the gym, but I want something else on the side that’s interesting and will keep me going. Any ideas?

How do I get to Yerevan airport from the city centre in the middle of the night?
I have an early morning flight from Yerevan and I'd have to get to the airport at around 3 am. I'm wondering whether it's betger to get there during the previous evening and just spend the night at the airport or to try a taxi at 3 am. What do you guys think?

Arab tourists in Yerevan
I would say that we have great experience in Yerevan city We are Saudi couple traveling the world. In our last travel to Yerevan we had a nice experience compared to other cities. We admire the double personality the city had one at day time and another at night. We were traveling with kids and during day time our activity was visiting city attractions and walking the beautiful main streets also trying to visit as much as local restaurants and coffee shops. During day my wife outfit is as any muslim lady ( hijab) and what I noticed which didn’t bother me at all. That she attract in many occasions other women eyes because of her hijab specially in Yerevan neighborhood. Write in the comments your perception about muslim tourists in Armenia.
Since we are open minded Arab. Me snd wife we present ourselves to city differently ( see the picture to see what i mean). We emerged ourselves into Yerevan night life. Wife is bearly covering her body and we are trying to show more than we hide. At night she was attacking men eyes which didn’t bother me at all. Let me highlight some points here and correct me if i am wrong. At day time and since we present ourselves as typical muslim tourists in some places at the beginning they treat us cold without any smiles or hospitality. For example the first interaction with the waiter is cold but keeping our friendly and respectful manner the waiter approach change to be friendly and welcoming. Someone explain to me? Since it happens few times. During night time while we are presenting ourselves as open minded couples we had beautiful interactions with people specially in restaurants bars and night clubs. We visited the gate club, 44 bar and calumet bar all experience was great. Usually when we are traveling and we randomly meet other couples we interact with them to test the water and to see if they are open minded. But in Yerevan we were hesitant maybe because as i read arminian is still conservative community. Pleas write me in the comments your opinion

Astrophotography near Yerevan
Hi everyone,
I'm visiting Yerevan for a week, mostly for the food :D but I also do astrophotography back at home and wondering about potentially getting to some dark sky sites in the Yerevan area, e.g. Amberd Fortress or Zorats Karer. It would also be nice to see some places like these to beat the heat...
- Is it fairly straightforward to rent a car and drive in Armenia if I'm used to driving in e.g. Los Angeles and unpaved mountain roads of the US/EU?
- Are these remote areas safe for astrophotography at night and generally free of stray dogs / shepherd dogs that might attack a lone photographer?
- Is there any special precautions one needs to take to drive at night in Armenia (animals, crime, etc.)?
- Curious about other dark sky sites you all might know!
- Is it better to hire a driver for e.g. 7pm-1am returning to Yerevan same night? Are there drivers willing to do this kind of weird timing?
I may not necessarily do this, it's just a thought since it's hot lately and would be a good way to dial in some nature and cool-off periods in between my food adventures. Thanks!

Visiting Yerevan in August
Hi! I suddenly have a couple weeks off. Is visiting Yerevan doable in August? I know it gets very hot during the daytime, but if I say get up super early, are there things to do so that I can time my activities around 7am-noon and 6pm-10pm when it is cooler, and just chill in the hotel from after lunch till evening?
I'm mostly interested in food, culture, architecture, maybe sunrise/sunset photography of interesting parts of the city.

Any Motorcycle Clubs in Yerevan?
Hey everyone,
I’m wondering if there are any active motorcycle clubs (MCs) in Yerevan. I’ll be around for a while and would love to connect with local riders or clubs, whether it’s for meetups, rides, or just to chat bikes.
Let me know what’s out there!

Where can I find tapioca pearls locally?
Hi everyone! I’m a big fan of boba tea, but the ones I’ve tried here haven’t quite hit the mark for me. I’ve tried searching online for tapioca pearls but haven’t had any luck finding them. Also, there aren’t many stores around that sell boba tea so far, I’ve only come across one place called Gotcha Boba.
Because of this, I’m thinking of making my own boba tea at home to get perfect boba tea according to my liking . Does anyone know where I can find good-quality tapioca pearls locally? Any stores, markets, or online shops you’d recommend?
