At some point it’s just too much. I feel like YouTube thinks they’re invincible. They do non sense stuff, drain ur data in ads, and now modify ur content without u knowing about it. They think they can do whatever they want they can get away with it cause there’s no competition/concurrencies. But what I see is a slow drowning process. I believe a lot of ppl would’ve switched(after the unskipable ads) if there was an alternative to it. We just need something that’ll bring back the joy we had while watching YT with one skipable ads, where u could download ur vids for free, and not getting sx ads every fcking where u go. Without the YT community, YT is nothing, it’s seems like they forgot about it. They’re following Adobe path, but the difference here is they don’t have competition. If i leave YT where will i go? That’s the question I always think about when I’m watching those ads but I have no options.

I just hope that’ll get better but without us(the YT community) being together on it that’ll never change and it’ll get worse.

I normally really dislike react content but all ludwig did was take the original thumbnail and posted a photo of him smiling on it. Like isn’t the point of “react” content is to provide like genuine creativity to the original content? Idk just feels parasitic

been self-studying animation for some weeks now and im excited to improve - any feedbacks?

The feature is audio track, which basically uses an ai voice and translates from the original video's language to your language. What i mostly don't like is that it''s on 70% of videos and there isn't an option to remove it completely from every video, you just have it on by default on every video with this feature and you need to remove it every time by yourself. I understand it may be useful, but for me it's not, it's hella strange also, and it takes away the vid's vibe. What do yall think about this feature?

1. I was scrolling through shorts when this video ad popped up. Normally, I have the option to like/dislike ads, and I have an elipses button to block/report/etc. the ad. Well, not with this one! I am this 🤏 close to leaving YouTube. One more little screw up like this, or making ad breaks any longer than they already are, and I'm done.

2. I tried making this a post using the Abusive Ad flair, which apparently only exists to flag and immediately remove any and all posts using that flair. That almost sounds like it's against Reddit's rules, but whatever. Also, the bot tried telling me to report the ad to Google/YouTube, when my whole post was about not even being able to do so. 🤦
