I found Kataangers who say that Zutarians hate Aang, so now I'm curious and I wanted to make a poll for Zutarians about the opinion they have about Aang.

Yestarday I made a poll, for Zutarians about their opinion of Aang, and this are the results.

1st question:

Green: I like/love Aang. I think he was ready for a romantic relationship by the end of the show. Even so, I think Katara and Aang were both bad for each other in a romantic relationship. 94 (65,7%)

Yellow: I don't hate him but I don't like him either. I think Katara deserved better than him. 18 (12,6%)

Blue: I like/love Aang. I think he was ready for a romantic relationship by the end of the show. Even so, I think Katara and Aang were both bad for each other in a romantic relationship. 15 (10,5%)

Purple: I like/love Aang. I think Kataang is a good ship, but I prefer Zutara. 13 (9,1%)

Red: I hate him. I think he was abusive and a bad match for Katara. 3 (2,1%)

Some Katangers say that Zutarians/most of Zutarians hate Aang. However, this poll proves that people who hates him in this ship are a minority. People who loves/likes Aang are 85,3% while people who hates him are 2,1%. Zutarians who like Kataang are more than four times Zutarians who hate Aang according to the poll.

Also, I think that most of the people who hate him do so because of the way he was handled at the end of the show more than because the character itself. I personally, love Aang because of his care and compassion and I think he is a great character, but I don't think he should have ended up with Katara.

2nd question:

Dark blue: Yes. With Toph. 55 (38,5%)

Ligth green: I don't care, he could have just ended up with one of the girls from his fan club. 36 (25,2%)

Pink: No. He should have ended up single and had airbenders kids with more than one women and have not romantic bounds. 19 (13,3%)

Yellow: Yes. With Onji. (The Fire Nation girl) (I spelt it wrongly in the poll) 12 (8,4%)

Ligth blue: Yes. With other. 11 (7,7%)

Dark green: Yes. With Ty Lee. 6 (4,1%)

Red: Yes. With Meng (The fourtune teller girl). 3 (2,1%)

Purple: Yes. With Azula. 1 (0,7%)

I am curious about preferences in fan fic.

I like Taylor Swift and find that her music tells stories that sometimes give me Zutara vibes. I wonder how many in this sub are fans of both Zutara and Taylor Swift. I did not use the term Swiftie on purpose as I do not consider myself one. My commitment to the Taylor Swift fandom is not high enough. 😂

There are some fic writers that get some inspiration from Taylor Swift’s music.

Which would make fire a better story/is more likely:

1) Aang’s feelings for Katara fizzle out after the chakras thing. 2) Aang confessing his feelings for Katara post the Soizin’s comet battle she says no. 3) Aang confessing his feelings for Katara post the Soizin’s comet battle and she says yes in part because she feels guilty for saying no/doesn’t want to hurt him. They eventually break up. 4) Aang confessing his feelings for Katara post the Soizin’s comet battle and she says yes in part because they’re both caught up in the high and the adrenaline of winning the battle. They eventually break up.

In The Lost Adventures- Sokka challenges Zuko to a sword fighting duel (aka ‘sword bending’) & he loses every round until he uses boomerang- everyone said he cheated. The comic will be posted in the comments.

Post series (some time during the comics, assume she turned Aang down)

Katara is dating this guy from the NWT dude (Tonraq; he and Katara eventually break up)- Suki & Sokka are back & haven’t met Tonraq yet beyond basic intros. Sokka & Tonraq are facing off in a warrior’s skills contest (boomerang vs spear). Tonraq won w/ bending & Sokka is salty abt it.

I feel like the supporters would want him to get married ASAP and the New Ozai Society would be opposed to it.
