Booked my first role! Help! Vertical short

I literally just got off the phone with a CD. I’m a last-minute replacement and will be on set tomorrow!

It’s a vertical short which I know nothing about (I know they’re lame but I’m just starting!). Any tips for vertical shorts? My sweat is sweating right now I’m so shocked.

Show up on time. Memorize your lines. Figure out your character. Be respectful. Don’t get scammed.

See if they try to get you to sign away your image rights for eternity. Pass all contracts by your agent. At the end of the day, you're the one they wanted, and you'll have many takes. Just be yourself! Have fun!

You'll be fine! I assume you got a script? Just make sure you know your lines, show up on time and be professional. A vertical is probably a good one to cut your teeth on so just watch and learn on set and then you'll be more ready for when the big jobs come.

I was given a role in a vertical super last minute....I was sweating it however they let everyone call for lines. It was the wildest thing lol. Super chill environment. Can't say all sets will be like that but mine was

That’s the thing. I didn’t audition for this! I auditioned for another project and the CD booked me for this one. I just got the script like 3 hours ago 😬
