I've read the FAQ & Rules SAG only weekly audition rate LA/NY
Hey guys, I wanted to check in and see how slow it's been for sag members.
Of course, everyone's going to have a bit of a different number especially with different coasts but just as an estimate. What's your weekly audition numbers looking like?
Edit: if you've got union auditions coming in, go for posting. Looking to not inflate the numbers with non union work. Thank you

Averaging a little more than half an audition per month. That would be 5 auditions this year so far. Easily the slowest it has been for me in the last 10 years or so.
Its brutal

I am averaging 10-15 SAG auditions a month. This year I have had a total of 73 SAG auditions, 12 callbacks and 7 bookings. I left LA after about 15 years in 2016, took a major break from it all to get married and have kids, and am now in Chicago area. I do have reps in multiple markets though which truly helps. I also self submit like crazy. Majority of what I am booking is filming in Chicago, Midwest and all over SE/Atlanta region. It’s mostly guest stars, supporting roles in films and commercials. They film a lot of SAG commercials out of Detroit area.

Do you still self submit or not anymore?

Yes but not as much - my numbers are from agents only Recently I have hardly gotten auditions from self submissions

From my reps, I haven’t gotten anything in awhile. Everything is from self submitting and it’s like 1-2 a week maybe.

I was averaging at least one a week for the first 5 months then it dried down.
I've gotten 3 since then, not counting 3 I self submitted for.

1 union audition maybe every two weeks. I play college age white female. I’m in LA, but all my auditions are for out of town stuff. I have a friend who is early thirties white male model-type (skinny, not buff) in LA, and he’s literally been getting 4-5 a week for the last month. 😭 I need new reps haha

Just joined SAG this past summer. Right now I’m looking at around 5-6 TV/film auditions a month. Mainly co-star and supporting roles in film, with the occasional Recurring/Series Regular. Ebbs and flows but that’s where it’s sitting right now.
