this is hilarious. the fact that the mother is being weirdly insistent about him wearing this oddly specific hoodie with an ai monkey on it and furthermore the fact that oop posted it to a reddit forum to lament.

It's very weird to me...why is she so damn insistent on me wearing it, she gets upset and throws a fit if I don't, how dare I prefer clothes not made by an AI

Tell her she should wear it, she bought it and it upsets her when it's not worn... So she can wear it and get all the value out of it she would like.

It has something to do with a baby shower, and a costume I was barely conscious for, and she thinks its cool, I guess why not she wear it? beyond me
