Sometimes I wish I didn't have any morals so I could do stuff like that. Alas, I can't

If you do it and send the money to charity, would that not be more morally righteous than to not do it at all?

With the immense amount of CO² and water AI produces/uses, probably not

Inherently, if this was eventually outlawed, would that make the money produced from it counterfeit?

If I remember correctly, YouTube is planning to crack down on this issue by not allowing AI videos to make money. I can't confirm, especially when YouTube is using AI to assume people's ages

doubt it, recently youtube added a feature where you can ask ai for "ideas" because people totally cant do it themselves /s

"only an hour or two to make?" how is it "only" for ai slop?? It's a ton

I forgot where I read it but some person on reddit took several more hours to put together a bunch of AI genned stuff for some series

I looked into some of the AI tools recently, and there's more of a learning curve than most people realize, especially if you want characters to stay consistent between scenes. So I could imagine that the first few slop videos would take a lot longer to make than subsequent videos.

I'm still not convinced that AI can make videos that aren't slop, but there seem to be varying degrees of slop.

Still better than owning something and getting paid for it.

I think I know how these people get rich: little snot nosed brats doomscrolling yt shorts. That's the only valid answer. Otherwise we cooked.

I have seen these kinds of videos reposted, they are just weird, they aren't entertaining or interesting they are just weird. A lot of them are also kind of racist or at least very problematic or overly violent, but also probably targeted at kids. It's Elsagate again, except those videos required someone to put in effort.

That's about as much work as most youtubers do lmao

It takes 1 hour to make a 6 hour video essay? Wow you’re really good at math

Crazy how most YouTubers are uploading 6 hours videos these days.

Do you realize how meta the video essay is rn. There’s actually too many hour+ long videos
