This is so corny "uhhh, the 90's were better cause the McDonald's apple pies were fried" who's 12 yo son made this?

Also McDonald’s switched from fried pies to baked in 1992

I remembwr eating deep fried pies around late 2000's too. Or maybe it was just very crispy

More like what 3rd world country made this?

I guess it's someone who watched a bit too many Star Wars sequels and The Goldbergs and now wants to relive nostalgia themselves?

Kids have no idea the pain of watching a channel with a scrolling tv guide and missing channel 131 and having to wait another 5 minutes

Fried some pies feel and taste gross versus the baked ones

I do get the sentimentals for the 90s from multiple points of view but even the videos shows its because people like me were kids back then.

Most millennials believed they would have the same lifes as their parents or grandparents, but it didn't work like this. Sometimes it gives all the fuzzy feelings when imagining being back then. It still remains a fantasy

Didn't watch the whole thing but im convinced it would've ended with "you can come back to the 90's if you jump off that bridge! Super cool right?"

No it’s because it was shot in the 90s. Everything used to be beige.

What is it with the bikes thing. Every nostalgia video is obsessed with how we “don’t ride bikes in 2025”

7

u/uuio9 4d ago

Guess it's bikers who are making this videos, lol

3

u/WorldsWorstInvader 4d ago

I guarantee the same old people would be complaining about kids on bikes getting in the way

Blockuster closed down, that was so sad. Also that kid at the end missed the memo on what having something on in the background was supposed to mean

u/Zero-lives 4d ago

Blockbuster was ass, there i said it. It sucked, i love streaming movies.

3

u/ReaperKingCason1 4d ago

I’m just joking the ai misspelled it. Called it blockuster instead of blockbuster

The Motorola “Ray-Zar” came out in like 2004?

Cell phones still looked like this by 1999. What the hell is the person making this rage bait even on about?

But do you look at the screen while playing? Cuz in the 90s we didn’t, apparently

The weirdo looking back on a nostalgia-obsessed life inputting the prompts into the AI content generation app for this.

Every other minute they glance at the loaded gun they keep next to their PC.

Nostalgia bait. Most of the things here we have it better. Yeah the riding the bike part sucks, but it's not gone, a lot of people still do it. And fuck slow internet lmao, its definitely not magical it sucked

3

u/fo234 4d ago

u/TuneACan 4d ago

this genuinely feels like the type of stuff an evil villain would show the hero when trying to stop him from escaping the simulation he trapped him in

2

u/killboipowerhead1 4d ago

i wish it had the dial up tone obnoxiously loud

2

u/nerfClawcranes 4d ago

he’s so good at playing gameboy he can do it without seeing the screen

2

u/rapidge-returns 4d ago

I was alive in the 90s (5-15 years old).

They sucked.

u/Impressive-Impact218 4d ago

Fuck off with these

As someone who rented movies from the early 80's to early 2000's:

Blockbuster sucked.

Blockbuster (and to a lesser extent Hollywood Video) drove almost all of the independent rental places out of business.

Their selection was bad.

When Netflix dvd service by mail became available, I never went back to a rental place, with the exception of a couple of super niche independent places.

Why do all of these creep me out so much? Children of the Corn lookin ass kids

1

u/misterpickleman 2d ago

Stepped into the 1999's? So, like, just the 12 months or a specific set of weeks?

1

u/ProphisizedHero 1d ago

I liked how both kids put on their fur lined jean jackets for their bike ride….Just like how we did it back in the 90s. Ahhhh true nostalgia ☺️

1

u/Impressive-Wolf8929 19h ago

This is stupid. And Goldeneye came out in like 1997.

1

u/teandjello 4d ago

4

u/Nathidev 4d ago

2
