Review Thursday - All about Reviews
This thread is a place for questions and general discussion about reviews at Amazon. (This thread is not for posting reviews of your own.)

Now, I'm not sure if this is new or not, but I just very recently noticed that when I scroll down to the spot on a product page where reviews used to be shown, they aren't there anymore. All I see is that search box where you can ask their AI about the product, which is infinitely less useful. Surely this can't be a permanent change? I'm literally going to stop buying from Amazon completely if I can't even read reviews before I buy...

This has been happening to me all day! Have they removed the reviews…?

I have the same issue, if you log out and view the page the reviews are still there.
I can't seem to find any profile setting that allows review display to be turned on or off, and I tried changing some other preferences like advertising, and it has had no effect.
When I search about it, all the content that comes up is about amazon filtering reviews you wrote, not hiding all reviews.
This seems like a recent change done by amazon that's affecting a selected few users which makes it all the more strange.

Same issue. Have to log out to read any reviews, which is extremely annoying. Happens on multiple browsers across 2 PCs, and even happens on the mobile app.

Are they ever going to change the review policy or fix the stupid fuckin AI that blocks people from leaving bad reviews?
I've been blocked for leaving a review on an item "do not buy, item is dangerous".
Warning customers about potentially disfiguring themselves from something, should not be on the list of reasons people can't submit reviews.
