I received my order today it arrived damaged. It was shipped in a flimsy bag that offered zero protection. The only option I being given is to drop it off at a UPS store. I do not have a UPS store near me. Does anyone know what I can do?

You can drive it to the hub for drop off. Other option is scheduling a pickup which can cost about $5

Do you have the UPS label? If not you can chat with CS and they can send it to you and then you can drop it off at any UPS pickup point or hub

You can chat with Amazon support and they can mail you a label. You can also see if they can change the carrier.

They kept telling me the only option they were seeing is to drop it off at a UPS store. I don’t know if it would make a difference if I tried calling them instead of using the chat support.

Always worth a try. I tell them the nearest UPS store is over 30 minutes away and that you don’t have a printer they’re usually quick to make changes.

Because you may well be chatting with an AI bot, and not a person.

I already know the answer, but have you had any return issues in the past, like sending back the wrong item perhaps? This could be Amazon's way of keeping you from doing it again. If someone will be printing the label and packaging it, return shenagans are far less likely.
