I’m trying to leave a review on Amazon for a Jeep part (VelvetunVillay Windshield Wiper Cowl Cover Trim Panel). The part was garbage. It didn’t fit properly and kept popping out every time I opened or closed the hood, even after modifications. I ended up returning it.
Here’s the problem: every time I submit a review (I’ve rewritten it multiple ways, from detailed to just a one-liners, I get the same canned email back from Amazon: “We investigated your concerns about product authenticity, and the information we have indicates that the product you received was authentic. As a result, we removed the review you submitted.”
Has anyone else run into this? Is there any way to get a negative review to actually stick when Amazon’s filters are this aggressive? Or is it the seller that is contesting every one of my reviews?
Below are my submitted reviews:
FIRST REVIEW ATTEMPT
"This part is a complete waste of money. The design looks like it was copied from the OEM schematics and printed on a cheap 3D printer. The hard plastic doesn’t flex where it needs to, making it impossible to install properly. To top it off, it costs more than the genuine Mopar OEM part, which is far superior in quality. Save your time, money, and patience. Skip this knockoff and buy the real thing."
SECOND REVIEW ATTEMPT
"This part is poorly made and not worth the price. The plastic is overly rigid where it should flex, so it never stays seated correctly—popping out every time the hood is opened or closed. The fit and durability are nowhere near the quality of the original part, which costs less and actually works. Save yourself the hassle and go with the original part sold by Mopar."
THIRD REVIEW ATTEMPT
"This part does not stay in place. The plastic is too rigid where it needs flexibility, so it pops out every time the hood is opened or closed. The fit is disappointing for the price, and I would not recommend it."
FOURTH REVIEW ATTEMPT
“Did not fit properly and kept popping out. Returned for refund.”
FIFTH REVIEW ATTEMPT
"Fit issues made it unusable."
