Silseth you dog. Save us.

Even with Soriano's return, Mederos going on the IL means we have once again lost our fifth starter. Silseth has been deployed as a single-inning reliever. And now even Fulmer, who's been our long reliever, is on the IL.

Makes me wonder who our fifth starter will be now (do we even have a better option than Kochanowicz?) and who steps up to go a bit longer.

While picking up Garcia and Chafin at the deadline makes these answers less unclear, we should still have sold at the deadline.Ā

It’s probably going to be Dana but, really, they should just start Dakota Hudson because these games aren’t important.

I’m sold that Dana shouldn’t told an MLB mound again until he’s sitting mid to upper 90s. His fastball gets torched when it’s 92-94.

His velo has been fine since returning from ā€œfatigue.ā€ Averaged 95.6 in his last start and touched 97.

Good, that’s where he needs to be at. As long as it doesn’t dip again like it did end of last year.

Funny that we lose Fulmer, Mederos, and Schanuel all at once and those are the exact positions Jake Eder and Sam Brown might have covered.Ā

(Probably would have been a bit early to call up Brown but he's crushing AA at the moment)

Mark Langston said it best during Friday's blow out. "He is nowhere close to being in the majors". Ouch.

You're right. That's probably the real reason Soler's 10 day IL is at 30+.

Wish Scot Shields would come out of retirement and that the shitty Farte Moreno would sell to an ownership group interested in winning vs just sucking for ever.
