I used to be an edgy teenager who thought that feminists were anti men.....then I actually met feminists and talked to them instead of getting mad at the imaginary ones the internet made up.
I used to be a naive feminist who thought it stood for equality, but then I spoke to irl feminists I thought were my friends and found out that behind the bigoted comments of Internet feminists are very much real people.
exactly. Modern feminists say they care about equality but their action are rather to ignore demonise men's issues and weaponise words like "incel" to shut mens voices and further push women centric Matriarchal idea that is no different than patriarchy
The majority? Or the majority you've seen in the cringe compilation vids or the ones that go viral? What you learn when you actually learn about gender studies, watch it actually is, meet actual people, meet actual activists, and join pro feminist communities, you learn that the internet is a filter. The most extreme idiots are the ones that get famous and become posters for the movements in most people eyes. It's designed to filter the most extreme examples to your feeds. Normal people with reasonable ideas don't go viral, and dont make good click bait for "feminist fails completions.
Dafuq are you talking about brother, rad feminists are DEFINITELY a real thing, and are usually just called feminists. People who want equal rights are called "non-dumbass"es.
Women dont have equal rights in large parts of the world. Even in places where they do, we still have a lot of systemic and societal problems that hurt women as well as men. Feminism is a movement about equal rights dude. Few rad fems have some stupid ideas but its amazing to me how I suggested that people get out of their bubble of what they think feminism is and actually learn about it, only to get comments like this flexing ignorance.
