I am headed to a party in a couple of hours. I planned to bring endive boats with apples, walnuts, blue cheese and balsamic reduction drizzle. Problem is when I stopped by the store to get the endive they are out of stock. I grabbed a bunch of baby bok choy thinking it might possibly work. Is this gonna work or will I totally regret it?

I am looking for help with a fresh appetizer for anything to go along with the rest of my birthday appetizers. I plan on doing garlic bread butter foccia maybe with cheese, buttered salty popcorn, chicken wings fried in duck fat. As you can imagine I am looking for something to cut all that richness. I don't like tomato chunks(no bruchetta, sauce is fine), I hate mushrooms. Any ideas?

Cream cheese mixed with different jelly flavors and the topped with Parmesan. Different jellies include jalapeño jelly, Apple and date, fig and honey, and orange and clove flavored. All are 10/10

I'm trying to get into plating, since I pretty much have cooking and culinary execution down. I'm going to post some appetizers I've done with late, and I want you guys to tell me how it could be better.

I am seriously in need of ideas for an engagement open-house party (4 hours, 1-5) at a winery for about 125 people. The limits include budget, hot weather (semi-outdoors), no cooking or food prep facilities, and limited refrigeration (coolers, if we bring them and buy ice). I have trays, platters, baskets, napkins, but really need finger-food snacks that are “bready” and substantial enough that it soaks up the alcohol a bit. I have Trader Joe’s, Costco, Smart and Final, Safeway, and Raleys nearby. What can I put on platters, bowls, and little individual paper cups that will meet this need and yet not look like a tacky 7-11 store midnight munchie run?
