Me and my 15 yr-old kid are visiting Berlin 10-15 August. What is the absolute must do/must see?

Nice, you picked a solid time to visit, Berlin’s great in August! :)

Here’s a mix of must-sees and stuff that’s actually fun with a teenager (not just tourist traps):

  • East Side Gallery - Super chill to walk along, cool graffiti, bit of history but not boring.
  • Tempelhofer Feld - Massive old airport turned park. Rent bikes or just cruise around on the runway. Feels surreal and super Berlin.
  • Mauerpark on Sunday - Flea market + street food + weird karaoke in the park. It’s chaotic in the best way.
  • Berliner Unterwelten - Underground bunker tours, Cold War vibes. Surprisingly cool, even if you’re not into history.
  • TV Tower if the line isn’t crazy - Nice view, but honestly, not a must unless your kid’s into that stuff.

Optional weird stuff: The Computerspielemuseum (retro video games!) or Ritter Sport chocolate DIY thing.
