What’s a politician or party from your country that you agree with some statements of theirs, but other statements or theirs you disagree with so strongly that you will never vote for or support them?

I agree with Milei that decades of awful fiscal policy and debt has crushed this country present and future; and that we need to stop spending.

However I disagree completely on everything else he says: how we should tighten our belts, his continuos insults, his hate for the role of the state, his lapdog international stance to the US, his ridiculous support for the state of Israel, his support of the stupid cultural war, his stance against abortion, his stance where tax avoidance is a merit, etc etc etc.

If he would shut his mouth and forget all his agenda besides the economy, I might have voted for him at some point.

Really? I'm not following everything he does, so I don't know much. What policy did he apply that makes him alt-right?

Bukele/Nuevas Ideas

I am am all for locking up gang members in a maximum security prison and completely eliminating all signs of their culture. Just like Germany did with the nazis.

Not gonna get into a deep political rant but the methods used to achieve said goal wasn’t exactly favorable either and not everything is rainbows and unicorns. Keep chugging all government propaganda without investigating into real details.

Infrastructure projects have failed on some occasions (looking at you Los Chorros) nothing is “salvadoran” constructed, all are mostly foreign projects except road pavements. But hey I do applaud the good such as the new San Miguelito market. I’m not one to complain how long construction takes either.

Other things hes a complete sociopath. His party literally just votes yes on anything he proposes no matter how idiotic it seems.

Milei and the Ks, never voted for either (and never will), but I agree with some things they say, mostly because of broken clocks being right twice a day.

Jones Manoel

I like some/most of his analysis and I enjoy watching him debating right-wingers.

But implementation of his marxist-leninist plans, especially in the economy? No thanks

I agree with with a few Kirchnerist statements/public policies: investing in research & development (science), launching new satellites, opening new universities, etc. But I strongly disagree with their economic statements/policies: inflation, capital controls, extreme protectionism, high tax burden on industries, etc. That, added to foreign policy and basically any other Kirchnerist ideas.

Missão. I only agree with their hard line against bandits a là bukele. It was proven that it works in short time, which debunks the jurassic excuse of "duh inequality, it would take 400 years to solve, bandits are victims too, Brazil has mass encarceration, we have to release prisoners to lower crime duh". A large chunk of brazilian population is under the authoritarian and bloodthirsty rule of crime and can't stand anymore. It's sad to see people who claim to "defend the workers and the poor" ready to thrown them under the bus just to save the criminal gangs ass. Unfortunatelly there is no party that defends most policies I agree with.

a politician or party from your country that you agree with some statements of theirs

Isn't that all of them? I mean, that's their catch. Just googling their platforms I see nice ideas: social justice, respecting the other's life plan, defending our sovereignty, defending our natural resources, equity, right to life, etc.

but other statements of theirs you disagree with so strongly that you will never vote for or support them

When discarding candidates I judge based on their party's history. Putting it bluntly, right-wing parties are famous for disfavouring the working class and being okay with little girls having babies, so they're a nono. Left-wing parties are always fragmented and fighting, and prone to get their asses kicked on elections, so I never vote for them for executive positions. Then you have the ones that say they're centered but once they're in power they make deals with right or left wing parties, so it's a lottery.
