Business Information Cozy Crumbs bakery by Jae

Hey Austin Fam!!, I’ve been building my little bakery called Cozy Crumbs by Jae. Right now my menu includes things like chocolate chip cookies, seasonal flavors (like Apple Spice Snickerdoodle), and cinnamon twists.

I bake everything from scratch in small batches, and I’m getting ready for my very first farmers market next month “September 21st” in Georgetown 🎉. It’s been a mix of exciting + nerve-wracking, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

Here’s a peek at what I’ve been making — would love any feedback from fellow bakers, foodies, or small biz owners!

Thank you so much! It definitely has been a learning curve for me! And learning how to be patient and lean more into quality over quantity with my bake goods. And been so excited in the process! I hope everybody comes by and try it out ☺️

I’m not a business person or a bakery person, but I am just a few years away from the Denny’s senior citizen discount and my words of wisdom are that slow growth is MUCH better than quick. I’ve loved a lot of small Austin businesses that took a big quality hit when they tried to expand (I’m looking at you Valentinas) - so keeping it small can be a good thing!

Also, as a bakery lover, it doesn’t hurt to focus on and highlight one amazing thing. I live south but will cross the river for Upper Crust’s Grandma’s Chocolate cake, Moonlight Bakery’s chocolate croissants or Quacks lemon bars. Your cinnamon twists could be the unforgettable thing people will cross rivers for!

Sending lots of luck and well wishes, and don’t forget to post if you ever set up down south!

I just want to say from my whole heart thank you so much for your wisdom! 🥹☺️ I really needed to hear that and you’re absolutely right slow and steady growth feels right for me, and I’m really leaning into quality over everything. Hearing that my cinnamon twists could be ‘the unforgettable thing’ people cross rivers for just lit a fire under me 🔥🍪. I’ll keep posting updates, and hopefully I can make them worth the trip! And hope you come down and try my cinnamon twists as well on September 21st! And i definitely keep you posted
